If you really want it, don't wait, get it now.jsnweitzel wrote:I've been trying to find info about Target price matching during BF but haven't found anything reliable yet. I know that many stores will not price match on BF specifically for this reason and so that their sales people aren't bogged down by this as well. Same goes for returns.oocaleb101oo wrote:Saw a Target had 5 or 6 of these Troll sets and I was in shock thinking they were gone for good. Do you think one could buy them now and have them price match during black friday? I really want this set and don't want to give it up.... or spend over 100 haha.
I want the set for my son but I haven't decided if I want to buy other stuff at Target. If I do not want other items, it makes no sense for me to stand in line for hours to save $30. You take chances with online as well. These items will be limited stock and just because your order is confirmed doesn't mean the stock will be available to ship it. Also have to cross your fingers that the store's servers aren't overwhelmed.

Re: [USA] Target Black Friday Lego
I already saw the Troll Mountain Fortress at the Poughkeepsie Galleria Mall Target. I guess they're hoping to sell them for full price before the mark-down in BF.
Re: [USA] Target Black Friday Lego
Saw both sets stacked on the top shelf at the Greenland,NH Target today. 6 across for each and not sure how many deep.

Re: [USA] Target Black Friday Lego
I overheard that Target will not price match door busters.
But all other sales will be price-matched.

I spoke to customer service at my local store and that's what they told me.ncbarrett wrote:I overheard that Target will not price match door busters.

Re: [USA] Target Black Friday Lego
I would like and will try to get 2 of each. I rather have an indie set but maybe can trade later. Good for me.
Re: [USA] Target Black Friday Lego
My local Target has about 10 of these in stock. I hope they last until late afternoon, as I have no intention of going to any stores early in the morning, it's not worth it.

Re: [USA] Target Black Friday Lego
In reference to the Troll set:
I'll most likely head over to Target and buy it at retail - 5 or whatever the coupon that is going on now. Then i'll come back later on on black friday and see if it's still available. If it is then i'll buy it for cheaper and come back another day to return the original one. I want the set and would ultimately love it for 65 but not fighting peeps for it. Still would be better than not having it and trying to ebay it for over 150 or whatnot.

That sounds like the best idea.oocaleb101oo wrote:In reference to the Troll set:

Re: [USA] Target Black Friday Lego
Wow, got to target at 3am to get a couple of fortresses. Finally got in the store and what do you know?? They had about 30 space police sets and NO troll fortresses!! The employee I talked to said they never got any in. Aside from the major disappointing Lego sales this year, chalk this one up as another one!!
Re: [USA] Target Black Friday Lego
Oh how I wish I could have gotten those. They would probably have been sold out by the time I got there, and anyways, I finally got my brother to help me get an Emerald Knight. So all's well.
Re: [USA] Target Black Friday Lego
I got in line a bit after 3am. Long line in front of me. Maybe 75-100 people. Any way by the time I got in the store (very quickly) I was the only one in the toy isle. Everyone was grabbing tvs. I got 2 boxes of the troll fortress and 2 of the galactic enforcer. Then I went and grabbed 2 of the lego gift cards for presents.
I was out in less than 10 minutes.
Great haul for me this year. Though I rather have a Indy mine set. Anyone want to trade?

I did the same thing, minus the gift cards. People really wanted those tv's!

Re: [USA] Target Black Friday Lego
I got up at 6... got there at 7... literally 5 people at the cash out line up front. Went to the Toy section ready for disappointment.. but i saw it.. a Troll Fortress. ONLY one. They had it by the board game section. They also had a lot of enforcers and I went to the end isle of the lego section and they had 3 more fortresses. I ended up getting the 1 fortress and Lego Harry Potter for the PS3 for 27 bucks. Not sure if that was the BEST deal but it was marked down 20 or so bucks. I threw in a couple of "throw pillows" for 7 bucks and it busted me over 100 and i got my giftcard too.
NOW I need to go back and return the Fortress I bought on wed/thursday of this week. I ended up buying that for 102 using a coupon. I wanted to make sure I at LEAST had that set in hand. No price adjustments or return/buy back options needed to be done.
Oh and my store only had 10 Westinghouse TV's which were the popular items.. those were naturally gone.

Re: [USA] Target Black Friday Lego
Went to work and got off early. it was boring. Stopped by another target and saw still plenty of boxes of both sitting around. Might go back to get one of each and look to trade later one with someone. I think I will keep the enforcers and sell the fortresses.

Re: [USA] Target Black Friday Lego
I hit the Target in Framingham around 10:30am and got the Galactic Enforcer. They had a ton of them, but there were no Troll Fortress sets in sight.
Re: [USA] Target Black Friday Lego
well I did go back and grabbed one of each again. Also they have sets 30042 Atlantis and 30032 world racers that i have not seen in the weeks before. i to grab 4 of each. I love the Atlantis figs and the water floater.

Re: [USA] Target Black Friday Lego
Had other shopping to do first but got to target about 5:30. Got the last Troll Fortress. Lots of Enforcers still in stock. Maybe they'll be on clearance again in a few weeks.
Picked up some other things and was out of the store in a half hour.
