Too bad Diagon Alley is not instock, but good buy on the hogwarts express. With 25% off, you'll still pay slightly higher than US retail. Still a good buy nonetheless as that set is already around $130 on eBay!
Like the Endor set, they have lots of these still instock (168) so thats a good sign.

Diagon Alley would have been nice...
Hogwarts Express is pretty much gone for good. So this sale is your last chance - cheapest one that's on fee-bay right now is $140 - shipped with duty you're looking at closer to $180 - 190 - so $83 is a steal!
They have some in store as well...

Just curious. Did TRU ever stock Diagon Alley?

We Canadians say almost the same thing everytime we read about a lego sale in the US, just replace the US with Canada

Yeah congrats on the turnaround!

I needed the Hogwarts Express to complete the wife's Harry Potter collection. Looks like I'm going to be stuck shelling out an extra $30 on Bricklink

Why pay more for our inflated Canadian prices? Was that being funny?
Anyway, HP sets were flying off shelves on Friday already. Would have been great if DA has ever been sold but the hopes were too high for the TRU Canadian counterpart. The only way to get DA is still thru Lego and there will not be a sale ever. 3 Castles were gone within half an hour when I was there after the "snow storm", whatever it was called. Still expensive at $132 but what the heck, buying Lego here is just great (real sarcasm).
btw, cashier checked the seals before I paid, and circled the receipt to prove that it's been checked. I never knew about this new rule. Did it happen to other people too?

Never had that happen to me - usually the cashiers throw the boxes into a bag and don't even care if they get damaged in the process (specifically if some of the boxes are heavier and different cadboard than others it's annoying as one box can damage another one).
Would be nice though if they would start being a little bit more respectfull of the boxes and ensure that they are still sealed...
