Right on man. I am a US Citizen who lives in Australia but on Business Assignment in Quebec. I'm not afraid of posting on this forum that there have been many times I have gotten "lucky" while crossing the border as the agent didn't ask me what the amount that I was bringing back. The way I see it is this:

I already paid taxes in the US, the item won't be for resale in Canada, and I'll bringing it back to me in Australia so I haven't hurt the Canadian Economy...actually after all the taxes I pay here and crappy services I receive...it is the least they can do....afterall...IT'S BLOODY LEGOS NOT DRUGS, ALCOHOL, ETC.

So how does it work when you go back to Australia? I would imagine you have a boat load of Lego's while in Canada a and at the airport that would sure be a lot of baggages, does Australia tax heavily at re-entry and if you're still a US citizen what do they do then?

I guess perhaps you could send them home by mail service little by little but that would sure be a lot.

Just curious and interesting.

Easy answer....I work for one of the world's largest engineering and construction companies and they provide a container for me and pay to ship all my goods back (maersk)

Lets get back to the original topic, S@H is the only place that remained shown stocks (back-order, ship within 30 days) for 10197. Walmart, Amazon, Target, TRU are all out at this point.

My local Lego store still had Fire Brigade in stock when I was in there last weekend. If you've got a store and are in a rush to get one, it's worth checking.

I just checked TRU.com. They still have the FB in stock and even discounted to $134.99!
