Walmart in South Surrey, BC had CMF S9 minifigures for $1 each, probably none left now...

This is the kind of deal that needs to be reported via smartphone immediately! Thats a crazy deal; I would've cleared the shelf.

Just for clarification though, when did you see this and how many were left? Is it even worth me driving out tomorrow afternoon.

I wish they opened a Walmart in Richmond. New West is a bit too far from here and by the time I get there, someone would of have wiped it out.

Great deal for the minifigs. I'm still looking to complete my collection.

I know what you mean, we were actually wanting to go down to Bellingham today, so waited for the border wait to go down, but it never really did so ended up shopping in South Surrey.

Which ones you still looking for?

I only have the judge, police, and plumber I picked up from the LEGO store during boxing day.

Somewhat of a random question, but those of you that bought Jabba's Hut either in this clearance or previously, do you plan on buying Rancor Pit to go with the set?

I have refused to even build my Jabba's Palace until I get my Rancor Pit.

Only when they go on clearance since $75 is way too overpriced, the set is pretty much good for one thing, the Rancor figure.

Planning on getting 2 Rancor pit sets but I'll wait for it to drop in price.
Here is what modded Jabba's Palace and rancor pit look like http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.p ... opic=78309" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Yes. It is but you still have 2-3 months to look for a better deal. Before summer, both 9472 Attack On Weathertop and 9470 Shelob Attacks will start to disappear from the shelf, too.

If you live by the US border, Walmart has the Rancor Pit set for $52 online with free store shipping.

Found all 6 of the planets sets on clearance for $7.00 each today at the Barrie Walmart (Bayfield St). They had mostly Naboo starfighters, but they did have at least one of two of the others left after I bought the ones I needed. Don't know if any other locations have them on clearance or not.
Who is General Failure and why is he reading my hard disk?

The Cedarbrae Mall in Toronto, at about Eglinton/Markham Road (DO NOT MIX THIS LOCATION UP WITH THE ONE AT Eglinton/Warden) had one set of Mines of Moria selling at $60, which is 40% off of the regular $100 Canadian MSRP. Makes this set somewhat worth now (compared to it's bloated regular price) at less than 8 cents/piece before tax. I was tempted but I can't get myself to like the set. Yes the minifigures are nice but the rest of the set is pretty underwhelming. It's not in the regular Lego section, but rather in another section of what seems to be clearance stuff. That's the only location I've seen that set for $60. There was also at least one Recycling Truck there.

The Milner Road location (around Morningside/401) had like 4 Jabba's Palace (2 in one section, 2 on another shelf). Also at least 4/5 of Helm's Deep from what I saw. What was interesting though, was that this location had AT LEAST 15 of 3648 Police Chase, one of the few/only location(s) that I've seen that still even has this set. Problem though, is that they're still selling that at full price of $30.

This set is heading discontinued. Right after Christmas, there was a huge shipment to TRUs and Walmart; however, I believe that should be the last one. My local walmart sold them out very fast.

No local retailer in my area has ever offered price reduction on this set. You won't lose by getting it at this price.

If we do not buy, they will drop. So my advise is, if you can wait, then wait for further discount, but if a birthday is comming up then buy now since it will retire eventually.
