Greeting from Buffalo!

Post by aznfevr » Sat Sep 18, 2010 9:38 pm

Hey folks just wanted to say hi. I am 23 and completely new to Lego. Bought my first set a couple months back after seeing the Toy Story Sets and have continued on from there. My roommate and I got hooked though while making Toys R Us runs in between classes and work to pick up Series 2 Minifigs. Now have almost the whole City set and would like to branch out into doing some custom creations but don't know how to start. I found this site while searching for Lego deals and come here daily! Lego is much better than wasting money on my DVD and Blu-Ray collection!

Just build. Throw pieces together to see what you can do, copy other peoples builds, practice, practice, practice. :)

Hello there from a fairly seasoned veteran of TnB. If you want to start with an MOC and have no idea of what to build then there are two easy solutions: take a bunch of random bricks and see what you can make out of it or find a picture of something and see if you can build it. Your creativity will fill in for the pieces you don't have.

Playing with LEGO when I can. Where does the time go?
