I was browsing Eurobricks and saw this:
http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.p ... opic=68094
Looks like Lego is really pushing exclusive Minifigs with the new Super Heroes theme!
BTW, where are promotions/sales that apply to both US and Canada supposed to be posted? I posted in the US subforum, because Canadians might look through here for deals in the US (don't think it happens the other way around very often).
EDIT: I missed this:
http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.p ... opic=68092
Both courtesy of ACPin over at Eurobricks
This means I will have to spend at least $125 to buy Lego at Canadian MSRP!

But at least the minifigs look great!

To be honest I prefer the larger Hulk than this promo one. It's still a great fig though
TC-14 looks great but I'm not sure if I can actually spend $75 on non-discounted sets that day...
Anyone else got the May 2012 calendar yet? What are the other promos?

Moving this to availability thread for the time being as it could also be available in the UK/Europe/Australia. :)
I'm sure $75 will not be hard as there will probably be other LEGO Star Wars sets on sale. Must get the chrome TC-14!

It's interesting that the Star Wars promotion is May 4th & 5th this year instead of May 3rd & 4th like it has been for the past several years.
Must get TC-14 to put next to my chrome C-3PO figure.

I am so excited for the superhero minifigs! I definitely want this one (the hulk)!

If I did two separate $75 orders on May 4 or 5, would I get two of the TC-14?

TC-14 is looking good, but the purchase is limited to a single Star Wars set. I hope it could be anything above $75 so that I could get a modular set.

Probably too early to ask but is there a coupon code that needs to be applied for the TC-14? I am hoping that they will 'find more' of these later on in the year (same like with the ARF Shadow Trooper)... that would be amazing!

It would depend on how many are leftover after the promo dates. Last year the stores were allowed to expand the promotion to free fig with ANY LEGO purchase $75 or more for a couple days after the 4th!

The ARF trooper was neat, but not a quantum leap of a minifigure, which is why it didn't fly off the shelves.
This will fly off the shelves. If you shop on the 5th, or even later on the 4th, it won't be there.

I agree with tensor; I wager the chrome TC-14 is going to be very popular (like the 2011 Holiday sets) and will be quickly snapped up. The same, to a lesser extent goes for the Hulk fig; the Super Heroes theme is also very popular.
If we really have to spend $75 on Lego Star Wars for TC-14 (sometimes it turns out you can spend that amount on anything), I have no idea what to get. I generally try to get only exclusives from Lego S@H since Canadian MSRP is hardly reasonable, but I already bought Anakin's Jedi Interceptor during the last double VIP event (really regret this). The only Star Wars sets that I don't have that interest me are the BPs, but those I can easily find on sale in the future. I'm no reseller, but maybe I'll just buy another Jedi Interceptor or two; future resale value seems solid.
What do you plan to buy to get your hands on these minifigs?

The promotions are always so neat!! It's too bad I don't usually spend more than $75 on LEGO at once.

Its just too bad they never have them the same time as new sets come out. So you either have to hold off on buying them until the promo or get something else. At least its only $50 with Hulk, that shouldn't be too hard to hit.
