Also a noob here, I was wondering where are the Lego clearance item normally located in a Wal-Mart store? Walmart is a fickle one. They all operate differently. I have found lego clearance in the lego isle (marked and unmarked), on a far row of the toy aisle, in garden, and in auto. This all happen...

Remember this is the company marking up Lego in order to hit misinformed shoppers.

My location has them on the back of an endcap along with the new Monster ones.

Tru has been very aggressive with sales this year. This can mean only two things both of which will only help the consumer's case. It is number 3. TRU Tax. Went back today to get money back for Series 5 figures I bought previously i.e. this sale. I noticed they added TRU Tax (50 cents/figure) since...

In case anyone was curious... if you buy something at 149.99 in-store (like I did with the Falcon), it covers for the $40 off. I also got the Trolley for Free. This is all that was purchased.

Does Lego end up selling these at S@H? I am just trying to understand the rush to get now vs closer to the holidays.

Targets in my area (NC) have hardly anything (only Hogwarts Castle) above MSRP.

Target store is clearing out half of their lego inventory. Most of the items were 30% off, but there were some marked down directly to 50% off too!!! Went to 3 stores...only 1 of them had them on clearance...I think that most stores put them on clearance on Thursday...so I will check the other stor...

The Lego rep I talked with told me there was no plans to re-stock it. That's when I pulled the trigger on the Walmart. Safe to say it is retired.

I would assume in-store as well.

They do the deal, they switch the deal, they do the deal again... to be continued.
