Got my shipment, box appears in great shape. Cost $19.42CAD for import charges. Took less than a week to arrive. Not bad at all!

Came out to about 89$ CAD including shipping. Smoking deal for Canada. I picked one up and will post what/if any border charges show up upon delivery. how can it be $89 cdn when it comes out to 57.44 GBP? exchange is 1.68-1.7 cdn to GBP - should come out to more than $96 cdn? Looks like someone had already cleaned out the two Bellingham Fred Meyers ... shelves were pretty bare. Lots of Series 9 CMF though.

Lego store at Alderwood mall in Lynnwood WA had the winter village post office marked down 20% off. I managed to pick up the 2nd last one for $55.

Fell to peer pressure as well, ordered 20. Got the 50% off + the $5 coupon.

So Lego cancelled my BF order, since I'm in Canada and shipping to a 3rd party US address. This was done in the "interest to protect consumer information". Such BS. They are doing this to protect their overpriced Canadian online store. Honestly, its not worth paying extra on the Haunted Ho...

Went down to Bellingham this evening to cash in on this. Picked up: 9474 Battle of Helms Deep 5766 Log Cabin 7346 Seaside House For ~ $128 US. Also got a free 20lb turkey out of it too. Savings for Lego only worked out to 40% off, but if you include the free turkey I got 45% off my entire bill :-D

This is for only star wars and action heroes sets. Everything else is excluded. Tried at both Burlington wa and Olympia wa locations, got denied on city and creator sets.

The 10% bonus coupon expired on the 9th, and although I did try using it at the cashier they wouldn't let me. I ended up picking up the Ninajo Fire temple for 30% off. Although its pretty late now, I found the Fred Meyer near the Bellingham airport was pretty picked over (probably by fellow Canucks)...

Wow, BOGO this, BOGO that. You people down south are very lucky. All we get are lame selected set sales. :zzz: :evil: I don't buy any Lego in Canada; too overpriced.
