Re: Newbie seller looking for tips and help

Selling lego sets that are worth $10-20 and you are making $10-20 Profit, and if you don't no what you are doing on shipping is a waste of time and money, You should be buying Vampire Castle's, Helms Deep, Tower Bridge, haunted Houses etc this is where the big money making is, not running around to...

Re: Newbie seller looking for tips and help

I'm having the same problem. I think shipping in the US is much cheaper than in Canada although Canada post does offer small rebates for Ebay customers but imo not enough vs the price of the item itself. As the other poster mentioned you can always try to bulk sell them, this is what i'll try to do....

Re: How popular was the Agents line?

I never even heard or saw anything about ths line until I stumbled on a set on Amazon.com and I think it only caught my eye was because it was 300$ Looked interesting though and nice to see LEG0 doing lines which aren't based on a particular movie, too bad they didn't do much marketing for it.

Re: Its just sad when you have....

Me, I wonder how many polys and/or minifigure packs have "found their way" into pockets over the years. The last few sets I built had the minifigs split up into different poly bags (ex. head in one and body in another), not sure if it was a fluke or they do this to deter thieves. Crazy wh...

That looks eerily similar to the 2012 holiday set I just got in the mail.

Wow, looks great!! Did you keep track of how may parts it took to build?

Your wife may have supported you but I wonder how long she'll let you keep it on the coffee table.

Re: mosaic using round tile

I'm considering making some mosaics of my kids on the grey 48x48 baseplates but I was wondering if anyone has tried it with round tiles instead of the square 1x1's. The reason is simple, much cheaper!! Are you refering to 1x1 studs? Greybrick did a mosiac using clear base plates and lots of 1x1 stu...

Re: Are re-sellers bad human being?

Personally, I only think badly of resellers when they rush into a store first thing in the morning and buy ALL of a particular set (like say its on 50% off sale) preventing parents (for example) of getting little Johnny or Suzy the set they've been asking for all year. If a person is just buying LE...

Building trusses

I was considering buying the "Unofficial LEGO Technic builders guide" for ideas on building bridges/trusses with Technic parts. I'm not sure this book touches on these subjects, it seems more geared towards vehicles. Does anyone have it and know if there's any content on this? Better yet, ...

Re: Darth Vader's Millenium Falcon

Thanks for all the kind words. Probably not going to sell it, i'll probably keep it and build another but in the true colors and then build some form of a display case for them. I also had other plans for this, I bought around 75 sets of LEGO army men when they went on liquidation, I wanted to post ...

Darth Vader's Millenium Falcon

If Darth Vader had a Millenium Falcon this would be it. Sorry the pics aren't clear. IMG_3153.JPG IMG_3154.JPG IMG_3389.JPG I'm currently on the fence about selling it, currently it's just collecting dust since I couldn't find a glass enclosure for it. Not sure how to go about shipping something lik...
