ToysRUs Canada Boxing Day LEGO Sale (Post-Christmas)

This week from December December 26-31, Toys R Us Canada will be offering the a Post-Christmas LEGO Sale. Known as Boxing Week, this is the time when some of the best sales occur. Both LEGO Chima 70225 Bladvic’s Rumble Bear and 70226 Mammoth’s Frozen Stronghold will be on sale at 40% off.

In addition, six LEGO sets will be on sale at 30% off. Three are shown in the picture below.

I checked online on the 24th. A number of sets were on sale that I was interested in though most were sold out online. I went to Sherway TRU this morning - very few were marked down on the shelf but the prices were reduced when I checked on the scanner. You should have good luck if they haven't been marked still. Dufferin Mall on the other hand had very little Lego left. Maybe they don't carry as much as other TRU locations.

This is what I bought..prices are approximate (I don't want to look them up again)

Creator Bike Shop & Cafe $69 (reg $110)

Super Heroes
Darkseid Invasion $64 ($90)
Ant-Man set $20 ($25)
Spider-Helicopter $38.50 ($55) - changed my mind at last minute so didn't get it
Milano ship $35 ($90)

I simply went to TRU.ca on 24th, browsed the lego themes I was interested in and looked for what was marked down. Some like the Spider-Helicopter and Milano disappeared the next day from listings.
