DC Super Hero Girls - spotted at Toys R Us

Spotted 4 or 5 different sets on the shelf from the new DC Super Hero Girls line today at the Ottawa Merivale TRU location. This location received several Marvel Super Heroes sets early last year too, in advance of their formal launch date.

Despite my initial misgivings about them, they actually look pretty cool. I'm going to grab a bunch for my daughter for Xmas, and I'm pretty sure she'll lose her mind over them.

Do you know if that TRU still had the $15 off card if you spent at least $100 on stuff?

Honestly, the lines were so ridiculous, I got out of there. Online shopping has spoiled me -- I even skipped going to Costco today because I just can't be bothered with the crowds.

I figure I'll wait and see if Amazon lists the DC SHG sets in December, or use my VIP points from Lego Shop to get them...

FYI, the card has restrictions on what you can use it on. Guess what one of the restrictions is. Yep, Lego. ALL LEGO IS EXCLUDED. Screw you TRU.

I saw some of the sets in the GTA today as well. I have to admit I was pretty stunned at the price. $35 for that tiny Batgirl set seems ridiculous.
