Lego deal dry spell

I was looking at some of my purchasing from the previous year and it seems like after Christmas and the start of the New Year for obvious reasons all the sales dry up. I pay attention to the deals like mad and it just seems like there wasn't anything to buy for nearly two months after the holidays. Does anyone else notice the same thing? What do you do when the deals dry up?

Exactly! my wallet needs a break after this Lego 50% off sale. Plus the fact that CMFs3 are $3 MSRP.

This is the time were I can tell my wife that I will not buy any legos for a few months!

The only deals you're likely to find are going to be store to store, depending on how much stock they have left over. It's not going to be much I'm afraid. LEGO was apparently in the top 10 or top 5 most wanted toys for Christmas this year.

When the deals dry up...you stop buying.

I found some decent deals. There was the Mon Calamari Home One thing (which is pretty lame in my opinion) on sale 50% off, and some other stuff. The new things which they had gotten early were almost all gone-when I went there on the grand re-opening day, the shelves were full of Pharaoh's Quest and 2011 Atlantis. They only had the Sphinx. No 2011 Atlantis. So not so much to buy....still waiting for Ninjago....they also had some decent 2010 Atlantis deals, 1/2 on all, and 1/2 on wizard and jester sets.
