Ya, my wallet is sure hurting bad. Just getting back into Lego after a long haitus is expensive =)

BTW, I'm not so sure they were "mis-marked" at $0.99... my experience has been that Target has the MF3 series available but the barcode is not properly listed on their system (it doesn't ring up basically). So when you get to the register they basically have to sell it as a "Misc Item" and they ask you the price. (Happened to me twice at two different Targets). I've said "Oh, i think 1 or 2 .99", and they scanned them at 2.99 (didn't want to BLATENTLY lie =). So if you have no beefs with straight up lying about the price (and hoping they won't call to price check), it's possible to snag them for $0.99 / pop.
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

I had the same experience my first time through that you had Luciant, but I didn't want to lie about it.

Not entirely correct. Scan 204000426 in the price scanner. Some target will list them at 1.48, some at 2.08 and others at 2.99. That's 50%, 30% and full price respectively. Yes, some target stores are listing them at clearance prices. Probably a mix up.

First post here.

I picked up 2 of the City Corner Sets yesterday for the $14.98. Another Store had them at regular price.

I'm in the Dallas Texas Area.

Going to check some stores today, Being Thursday. Hopefully some other sets down more. Still Power minor and Heroes stuff around.

Are the city corner sets scanning 14.98 at the price checking kiosk or only at the register. I've been to 2 stores and checked the price in the isle and its still 59.99.

I worked at TRU, and all the scanners should be the same. But the price they scan in the isle is the price they will scan in at the cashier.

I went to three Targets yesterday and they were still at 50% or some items even moved back to full price at certain Targets. One Target still had their PoP sets at just 30% off.

Whoah! I'm in the area. Which store did you find them? I hit one and they had 2 corners and the Camper set, but both rang up normal price. I thought about getting it and going to another store to see if I could get the discounted price.

8403 $33.98. Not a great discount but good. Rest of the items on clearance are gone, except for the 69.99 enforcers. still 100.90 at the other store.

I went to my Target yesterday. Was excited to see one City Corner left but it rang up a full price. BUMMER! Did not get as I was hoping for a deal!

I found a Clone Turbo Tank today for $42.01! The price sticker said "Repackaged" and the tape on one end looked as if it might have been refastened, so I was a little worried. Got it home and it's all there. I did check with customer service on the way out, just to be safe in case it was incomplete.

Wanted to snag a Corner on the cheap :( A few targets had them on sale, but when I took it to the Isle Scanner, it showed full price. Now I assume that Target uses the same "scanner" system in their Isle scanners as they do at their register... hoping that no "additional discounts" are taken off at the register, but I'm not 100% sure:

When I found my King's Castle and Trolls Castle sets at Target, they DID have a white sign showing the clearance discounts of all the sets on the ender: Galactic Enforcer $69.99, Octane Truck, etc..., they had the Troll set listed at like $84.99... I figured hey.. it's discontinued and still a discount.. better than paying full price or more later... then when I got to the register, rang up for $50.99 or something like that. I wish I would have scanned it in the Isle scanner and we would know the answer, but i just can't see why they shouldn't show the same price if i did... Anyone actually WORK at Target, and know if they do take any additional discounts off @ the register?

** Side note, if anyone was able to scoop up an extra Corner or Helicopter/Limo (i think it was a Walmart exclusive), I would love to trade you for one. PM me and we can discuss details.
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

I tried two Targets today and the City Corner was full price at $59.99 and neither had the Camper in-stock. There were no clearance Legos left and most of the non-lego toys were still only marked to 50% off.

Ya, I think the City Corners and Campers were error's in some Target's systems since it wasn't chain-wide. That or they finally caught on and fixed it. I checked again today, and Corner still full price, didn't see a camper. They had 9 or more Galactic Enforcers for $69.99 still... apparently they are going to sell them for that or else! They had 3 or so Claw Catchers for like $18. No minifigs in the Valentine's area.

All of the Targets I've been to recently have the City House on clearance for $33.99 or so. One Target (Cerritos, CA) has it at $27.99 so it may vary from store to store. I also saw the City Fire Boat on clearance for $24.99 (50% off).

Mere minutes ago I bought a Gateway of the Squid for 50% off ($20) at a San Jose, CA Target at Capitol Expwy and Silver Creek. They were on a non-Lego aisle endcap (still in toy section though) with other clearance items. They have several boxes left.
