That figures since I just spent the rest of my gift cards on the TS3 Trash Set yesterday! Thanks for posting though, I might have to get another item.

My local Borders got in a ton of new sets, and I was able to use BOTH coupons, 1 for each of 2 sets I picked up. Here are some photos of the LEGO selection at Borders:

@legofans Yes, I am. To me, it's worth the money. Also - for the most recent 40% coupon, it is ONLY for Plus members. Thanks.

in that case you can use the 40% coupon for both items. I've been doing that for several times now. but have to stand in line twice. usually i paid for the first item, then look for another item that i like and pay again.

@legofans I did not know that, I assumed that it was one-coupon per account. I'll give that a shot next time around. Thanks.

I took the 33% off coupon to my local borders and couldn't find any lego worth buying, it is all so overpriced. I was going to get an apple tree house but with the coupon it was basically the same price as amazon. So I decided to buy a DVD. I picked out the new Ryan Reynolds movie buried. It was on sale for 21.99 so I figured for about 15.00 after coupon it would be worth it. Instead the cashier wrung it up and it came to 26.07 since it was 33% off list price of 34.99 and not the sale price. So the coupon actually increased the price by 2.55, I gave away the coupon to someone online and left disappointed. I wonder why borders is in danger of bankruptcy when they have such good deals like falling water for 129.99

If you read the fine print, it is one coupon per account, but a few people have reported being able to use coupons repeatedly.

That's odd, as I've found that using coupon for LEGO at Borders (even with their initial markup) usually gets you one of the best prices around.

The Apple Tree House doesn't look any different, with Amazon currently offering it for $37.19 and the Borders 33% discount price working out to $33.49. Unless you're state has a 11%+ sales or you are somehow getting a better Amazon price (if so, do share!) then Borders is definitely the cheaper option.

With Rewards Plus and the 40% coupon, that set drops to $26.99 (40% off MSRP!) and tax.

with my 7% NJ sales tax it came to 35.83 and amazon is 36.07 for me because I have an amazon card for 3% back. So for .24 I didnt want to waste the use of the coupon and then wound up not using it at all. Plus the boxes at borders were'nt in that great of shape.

Any coupons this week? For some reason (and I have "Plus"), I haven't received e-mails with the last two coupon deals. But I did get an offer from FTD via Borders and the e-reader deal. So strange, you'd think b/c I paid for a membership that it would come with benefits.

Thanks!
