A Homemade Lego Game Looking For Play-Testers

Post by StanTheLegoMan » Tue Mar 22, 2011 5:27 pm

Hello, my name is Stan Flea. And I like many of you, have a large collection of Legos. But these legos have not gotten much use these days. I decided to make a Competitve Strategy Game with them. I have tried many ways to do this, but none seemed to worked. I have finally found a way to do it. I am looking for some play-testers to help make sure all my units are fair.
Here is a brief instruction on how to play:
Thing you will need
Six-Sided Dice
Twenty-Sided Dice
Tape Measure
Then you will need to decide how many points to play. Each Mini-figure is given a point cost. It is located next to the name. The cards themselves are set up as follows.

Name:Storm Trooper-3Pt
Move-4"
Range- Standard Rifle-6" Sniper Rifle-10"
Attack- Standard Rifle-4 Sniper Rifle-3
Armor-1

Group March
Instead of moving one Storm Trooper you may move all Storm Troopers you control 3". You may not move any more Storm Troopers this turn

Move- Move is always done in inches or ". When moving you may use all your move or just some of it.
When moving up a hill measure the height of the hill, the height of the cliff is how much move it takes to get up.

Range- Range is also done in inches and is measured the same way as move except for height. When measuring for range you must angle it to hit someone . Also when you are in a tower your range is doubled.

Attack- Attack uses 6-sided dice roll of dice add it together, then roll the sixes again and add it again.
Always roll sixes again.

Armor- Armor is done with 20-sided dice roll them together and add them together. If the number rolled by the attackers exceded the number rolled by the defender then the defender is destroyed.

Destroyed- Before you destroy a figure roll a 6-sided dice on a 5 or 6 the figure is saved on a 3 reroll it.

Maps- The maps you play on can vary. you can use anything from legos to books with blackets over them as mountains.
As I said before I am looking for play-tester for this game. I have tons of units that need play-testing. I also have about 100 units that are playtested and are ready for your games at home. If you are intrested in play testing PM and I will give you a list of a couple units that need play tests and another of units that are already playtested.
If you have any Questions let me know.

I'm a little confused by your post, mostly the game in general. Are these all the rules? Is there more to this game or is this just a tidbit?

Possibly the genre of the game. Is there an existing board game you would compare it to?

It sounds like a more complicated version of Brick Battles.

If only you could have shown me that game last month. Last month I was at Total Con in MA when I saw a man with at least 100 lego knights set them up for something. When I arrived back home I searched trying find that game. When I could not I decided to make my own. Thanks Much.
