Thanks for the heads up! Just checked the price of these last Monday, and they were still full retail. Went back today, and sure enough, they were a buck. Naturally, I grabbed the last one :)

Thanks for the heads up, i thought it was strange they were still regular price when the bigger sets were $3. I was able to pick up 4 for less than i paid for one ($5.48) at the LEGO store a few weeks ago.

Thanks for posting this. I hit Kmart this morning and found 3 of the POP Desert Attack sets for $1 each. I was also there earlier last week and they were still $10.99. So strange to go straight from full-price to $1....but I'm not complaing.

I also found a few other sets on slight markdown, I wonder when/if they will be reduced further. The first two toy story ones did have yellow stickers on them, the rest did not have any stickers.

Toy Story Train $60
Woody's Round-up $37
Construct a Buzz $17
City Corner $42
City Tow Truck 7638, $11
City Sports Car 8402 - $8
Atlantis Seabed Scavenger 8059 $8
Atlantis 8056 Monster Crab Clash $6

Does Kmart have a "regular" markdown schedule like Target? I know Target typically reduces items each week with Toys being done on Thursdays.

Unfortunately when you click on the products it says "out of stock". I think they've been listed there for a while, I decided to search kmart.com after I found the $3 sets. It's kind of a teaser and/or a lousy web design!

I went to Kmart today to do a return and nothing has changed really:

Toy Story Train $60
Woody's Round-up $37
Construct a Buzz $17
City Corner $42
Atlantis Seabed Scavenger 8059 $8
Atlantis 8056 Monster Crab Clash $6

I found a POP Fight for the Dagger set but it wouldn't scan at the price checker (the message said "see shelf price" but there were no tags). An employee walked by and scanned it and said it couldn't be sold as it was ringing up 1 penny. I guess those have been salvaged out of the system. I had already bought 2 at $3 each so I didn't really push him about it. But I don't think the POP sets are available anymore in-store for $3 or $1.

Went by there again today, and the Lego aisle was mostly bare, like they were clearing it off for new arrivals. They had some sets in carts they were marking down, but all I remember is the Hero Factory Helicopter for about $30. I found 1 last Sports Car for $7.50. Also, some Toy Story sets were relocated, but not marked down yet.

YMMV but a couple of my local targets had additional 20% off clearance legos (a third store seemed to have 20% off most clearance legos but not all and it wasnt posted anywhere that they were additional 20% off). Tie Defender was $30 (40% off) at two stores, western train chase was $48 (40% off) at two stores, trash compactor escape was $20 (60% off, i picked one up) at one store and $30 (40%) at two others, at one store buzz and woody to the rescue was marked $14 (30%) but rang $14.99 (25%). There were a few others i dont remember exact prices but some smaller city and atlantis sets were between 20 & 40% off. Good hunting!

Sorry, i meant to say local KMARTS, not Targets. Also, Golden Staff Guardians, at all 3 kmarts was $19.99, MSRP is $9.99, a 200% markup!!!

Kmart is running the extra 20% off clearance this week, had a good find today! Woody's Roundup was marked clearance of $25, bring it down to $20 after the extra discount!

Now I only need to find the Western Train for a great price, got Buzz's Spaceship last week for $15 at Target and Trash Compactor the week before at Walmart for $30.......clearance is KILLING the budget! :))

I went today and Woody's Round Up was $29.60 (20% off $37).

so 20% off these prices:
Toy Story Train $60 so $48 w/ 20% off
Woody's Round-up $37 so $29.60
Construct a Buzz $17 so $13.60
Atlantis Seabed Scavenger 8059 $8 so $6.40
Atlantis 8056 Monster Crab Clash $6 so $4.80
Atlantis 8061 Gateway of the Squid $34 so $27.20

Duplo Jessie's Roundup #5657 $11 so $8.80
Duplo Mater's Yard #5814 $17 so $13.60

More Toy Story Sets marked down

Post by atmail35 » Wed Mar 09, 2011 11:23 am

I went back to Kmart today. The additional 20% sale is over so the above items are back to "regular clearance", if still available.

New items I found:

Buzz and Woody to the Rescue #7590 - $10 (50% off MSRP)
Buzz's Star Command Spaceship #7593 - $22 (27% off)
Lotso's Dump Truck #7789 - $15 (25% off)

All were in the regular Lego aisle and not stickered.

Thank you for the heads up on this, I forgot to post at the time. I grabbed a couple of the sports cars for $6.40 after the extra 20%.

I really wanted the Woody's Roundup on clearance, but no luck. the sports cars were a good consolation prize though.

Kmart is having an additional 20% off clearance toys thru 4/9. I picked up Buzz and Woody to the Rescue for $8. Mostly the same items as listed above on clearance - Atlantis and TS sets for the most part.

I received a PM asking if the clearance prices had changed. As far as I could tell, the clearance prices had not changed but they are another 20% off these prices:

Woody's Round-up $37 so $29.60
Construct a Buzz $17 so $13.60
Atlantis Seabed Scavenger 8059 $8 so $6.40
Atlantis 8061 Gateway of the Squid $34 so $27.20
Duplo Jessie's Roundup #5657 $11 so $8.80
Duplo Mater's Yard #5814 $17 so $13.60
Buzz and Woody to the Rescue #7590 - $10 so $8
Lotso's Dump Truck #7789 - $15 so $12

Several weeks ago Buzz's Star Command Spaceship #7593 was ringing in at $22 but today when I scanned it it said, "see shelf sticker for price". I don't know what that means. I think it should be 20% off the $22 but perhaps it went back to regular price of $29.99, seems like a glitch of some sort?

They also had large Hero Factory sets that I think were $37 and then 20% off but I didn't scan or take note of which sets they were, sorry.

YMMV since I don't know if Kmart clearance prices are nationwide or store by store.

Good luck!

The same thing happened at my store in Lynchburg, VA. I went to an associate in the aisle and explained it wasn't ringing up and asked for his help. He seemed frustrated because it seemed it wasn't in the system at all. Then he made my day by saying, "Tell you what: I'll make it a bargain. It'll be two dollars." TWO DOLLARS! I thanked him, went back to the aisle, and picked up the other few that they had. Not having a Zurg OR Buzz minifig until today, I was extremely happy to get these sets. :)

Also, Lotso's Dump Truck was marked down to $12.20. Not bad, but I'm trying to wait for it to go just a bit lower.
