I bought QAR for $90.00, 3-5 weeks delivery, I wish they had modular buildings, those are hard to get on sale.

You don't even have to use a different credit card. I've even used a previous kids club 30% off multiple times in store multiple times using my bn membership to get 10% extra off as well. The only thing it looks for is a unique email address.

@Luciant - Did you get the 30% coupon discount as well as the 10% member discount? That's not working for me. I even had the cashier try to get the extra 10% off (because she thought it worked that way also), but no matter which way she put it through it came out to a total of 30% off (not 30% plus 10% more). Oh well, you can always print out more of the coupons.

30% off for QAR is very tempting; however, the ship is not as good as I expected. Only 3 cannons for 8 slots, and those are attached to a 2X2 plate, which could not be moving around. This is too CHEAP and STINGY. [May be the real QAR carring 3 cannons only ] Besides, my son and I are not so into pirates theme, so we possibly pass this (may regret after discontinued and price skyrocketing ;) ).

Instead, I ordered 7947 Prison tower rescue (already have 7946 King castle), which saved me a lot comparing to Canada MSRP. I used to consider about getting another King castle to make the castle bigger, but would that be too crazy?

for international shipping - its worth paying the extra $3 for priority airmail shipping to outside north america - fastest time to australia was about 2 weeks

Canadians, if you want to maximize your savings, go through cashback rewards site like ebates or bigcrumbs, buy a egift card from bn.com and send to your own email. Use the gift card to make your purchase at bn.com. You can get double the cashback. right now ebates is sitting at 4% for bn.com so you get 8% cashback after the two separate transactions. When ebates goes to 8% during other times of the year, you can get 16% off thru cashback (goes to paypal). US have access to other better cashback sites so they can get more than 16%.

the $25 membership (I was a member from 2005-2010) used to good for canadians because you can layer on coupons but since they restricted coupon codes to work on most lego, the membership is no longer worth it, so you can just rely on these rare coupons when they come out. free shipping or free express shipping never applies to members in canada because bn.com cannot get deal from canadapost. The only reason why US gets free shipping is because of deals with usps.

shipping to canada via bn.com is not slow - its typical time from US to canada (2.5-3 weeks). I had one that took 4 weeks but that only happened once compared to 100 that came in within the expected time.

I had my order mysteriously cancelled just now. I placed an order for one QAR just before this coupon was discovered. Then I emailed asking them to apply this coupon, and they did. Now less than 24 hours later, they canceled it. But they still list QAR so I guess I'll place the order again... This POTC preorder stop and go saga needs to end.

My QAR order was cancelled but not the mindstorm nxt. You know the coupon was for a new kids club member so if you had already registered before in the club, then logically/technically it should not have been allowed, but I am not complaining - at least 1 of 2 went through

My Flo's V8 Cafe shipped and I had used the kid's club coupon earlier in the year but that was in-store, so technically it should have worked b/c you are allowed 1 in-store and 1 online purchase.

I may try the printable in-store and see if it works.

So far my QAR has not been cancelled, but I just placed the order late last night. I don't have much hope for it now though.

I received "Is Scheduled To Ship" email at the same day I ordered 7947 Castle Prison Tower Rescue. Thus, if your order is Kingdoms, I guess it should be OK.

For QAR order, it really was a waste of my time to go over all the reviews and comments. If I would have to buy a ship, I will go for imperial flagship but not this one.
