Toronadian wrote:Giving them a call right now, rep is saying that my Emerald Night order, and my 2 Winter Village set orders have been OK'd and thus that's why I received an email on that. However, he saw that my MMV order was still pending. He helped me send an email to whoever can look into it to help get more info on it which was the most he could do at that point.
Its strange because I ordered Medieval Market Village before Emerald Night. I hope its not canceled. :? We all remember
this situation when they canceled everyone's Imperial Flagship and Medieveal Market Village orders from last year right? All they did was gave a lame $50 discount on the Republic Dropship set.
It also brings back memories that Fire Brigade was listed under Castle/Kingdoms too...so that makes it City/Creator/Castle/Kingdoms Fire Brigade? Might as well make that set work for every theme!
Toronadian wrote: I also asked him about certain sets going out of stock just prior to this sale happening, which I said was somewhat suspicious. He answered me back saying they are aware of that and are looking into why that was the case.
I'll be interested in what they have to say.

Good luck to everyone who ordered MMV - it's a great set (already have 2)...
Ended up ordering the Lighthouse and the Mill Village Raid...
Ah, Ice, you had to bring back my bitter memories of not getting the Imperial Flagship & MMV from last year... had almost worked that bitterness out of my system, too... arg!

LEGO, it's not just a toy, it's an addiction... ;)

I ordered MMV today at between 5:30-6:00AM.
An order confirmation was received around 7AM
and a shipping confirmation at 4:45PM.
There's a tracking number from Purolator, and it says it is now at Toronto Sort Center at 4:10PM.
I also want the Mill Village Raid for the animals, but MMV is the priority, urgent, emergency, indispensable, vital, important as of the moment. MVR might show up at BN.com and with the 30%-off coupon now, it would only cost US$58 including shipping, while with TRU.ca it's 81ish+shipping.
My plan for the MMV is to replace the color of the blue 2nd floor, i'm still thinking of a nice color, maybe red?

MMV now shows out of stock. I didn't even want to waste my time with TRU. I noticed that sears.ca did the same thing to me. Before you add it to cart, it shows instock. You add it to cart no problems. You apply the discount, no problems...you go to check out....it's out of stock?

Surprised to see Emerald Night on sale. Ordered one just right before it went out of stock. Received email in 30 minutes ;). I hope they would not cancel the order though.
Try to pick up an extra box of MMV, but too bad it was out of stock at the time I saw your posts. A mistake not checking this morning coz' I have been giving up on toysrus.ca earlier.

I checked last night and there was only 8 to begin with and you got the last once, nice! :) I'm suprised that Emerald Night was available for so long. Maybe because its not explicitly listed in the discount page and can only be found through searching. I'm not too worried about the Emerald Night because I got order confirmation and it says Item(s) located in stock.

Still no email confirmation that I placed the order on that set yet. When I checked the order status through the order number I copied down, it still says its processing. :( Really hope this goes through as who knows when the next castle sale is (and MMV is instock at the same time).

I just received a shipping confirmation for my 2 Winter Village sets, and the Emerald Night set. On the other hand, my order for Medieval Market Village (which was actually my second order, did it before Emerald Night; ordered the 2 Winter Village sets as my first order, then MMV, then Emerald Night) STILL has no order confirmation email. Annoyed.

Like r1chard, I received an order confirmation for the MMV yesterday morning (at about 9:30) and an order shipped e-mail at about 4:45 pm.
When I tried placing an order for the Emerald Night, the website charged me for shipping so I decided to restart the ordering process, but by then it was out of stock!

Just to add to that now that everyone is saying when they ordered MMV, I ordered mine at around 7am or so also when the site clearly said it was in stock. I know someone else said they had a similar issue of the order being on hold for a whole 2 months before they finally canceled it or something in the past...I better not be getting that kind of treatment.

My MMV is still "processing" with no order confirmation so I called them. The rep was really nice and understanding. She said she will try to push my order through and also assured me that my order will not be canceled. What great customer service, her words really made me feel better about the MMV now. :)

Seeing this, I made a second call to TRU customer service. I think I got the same rep as you did because she said she did the same thing for someone on the exact same item. She did the same thing as the other rep who dealt with me yesterday, send an email to the order review people or something to try and get things sorted out. She said she knows it's "out of stock" (not sure if she was referring to on the website or in general...); and knew people ordered this early or something like that, couldn't exactly make out what she said for that part. Also hoped that I would be able to receive the set or something, and would try to get the order review people to either send me hopefully a order confirmation/processing kinda thing or sadly a cancellation. Next, she told me if I don't receive any sort of info or contact by Monday, I should call again to try and receive some sort of info on what's going on. She was nice and all but it's seeming more and more I might not end up getting the set.

That doesn't sound good. Now you bring my hopes down. :( I guess we'll all get our answers on monday then.

I just got a confirmation email a few minutes ago too. :)

Purolator shipping offices are closed so you won't get delivery on weekends. Only the packages that are in transit are operating. I would guess that by "ship", Toys R Us means that it has setup all its printing labels and probably at Purolator warehouse. Good thing its not shipped by Canada Post as if they do strike... oh boy. :?

My order has not shipped yet. According to their website "Item located in stock". That was Friday. After 5 eastern today, and still hasn't shipped. I have a bad feeling. Hopefully I am worried for nothing.

I got an email today that my orders have been shipped. My package is in TORONTO SORT CTR/CTR TRIE, ON depot right now. Can't wait to get MMV and Emerald Night! :D

I have to agree on that. I hate it when I have to go to their shipping outlets to pick up the item.

Well, must have been like 10 minutes after my last post, and I got an email saying my MMV has shipped. Currently in the same place your order is! Finally, after like 2 years of trying!
