Nice fill. I'm not going to try and best you on piece count (because then I'll spend hours in the store stacking 1x1 plates), but I do have four more of these PaB boxes to out-style and out-do your "1x1 round-plate smuggling" approach.

haha I agree, this is brilliant work. I think these PAB packing photos deserve a thread all on it's own. I know they've already inspired me to be more creative and resourceful the next time I visit the Lego store. Thanks guys!

Wow you guys have better brick selection then the Lego Store in Toronto had. Only thing of interest the first week was 1x2 neon green tiles and 1x1 clear trans rounds. :(

The PaB wall can definitely be hit and miss, but the Rockefeller Center store has been the most consistently awesome selection since they opened. I have a feeling the flagship stores are all like that.

I guess you noticed that too uh? I was trying to figure out how to pack my box with leaves since they have a weird shape and staking them was even worse. so I threw them all in layer by layer. I stuff the 1x1 green pieces to sort of fill the void. When I got back, I tried to figure different ways but I think I did alright.

That place is so packed. It's one of the largest walls in the area. I've had good luck in the Paramus, NJ. It's a small store but they have so much pieces to pick from. They were the first to have wheels in the area.

Here is my MBA PAB haul...375 pieces and about 12 ounces. I'm thinking weight is the way to go since the pieces vary in size so much!



After I took off the top plates....this sat in my car for 2 days and there was a bit of settling. I guess I could have jammed in more. I could barely close the box though, actually I think it's because the pieces are pushing out the sides...it was very tightly packed at first:


Since it was a square box, I stuck with mostly regular bricks ...could have jacked up the piece count with the smaller ones but I wanted these colors.

I didn't know the Lego B/M would let you stack and connects bricks to fill the PAB box.

Hopefully I wont get any hassles at the Lego B/M. Cross fingers for free PAB box fill
