[USA] K-Mart 50% Off Clearance

Thanks for the tip that the additional 50% off clearance is back!

It appears that the additional 50% off is being applied on-line at Kmart.com (or at least some additional discount - it may be less than 50% in some cases), but it's not actually advertised that way. Also, occasionally the discount doesn't show up until you proceed to check-out. A lot of the Lego is gone, but I did purchase:

Lego Atlantis Guardian of the Deep for $5.50
Lego Atlantis Deep Sea Striker for $7.50
Bionicles Takanuva for $2.00

(There are also a couple Lego Racers sets, a couple Hero Factory sets up and still available that I did not purchase.)

(Plenty of good buys on non-Lego toys, too, including a lot of boy toys, which is always good at our house.)

ps. I got free shipping, too, although I'm not clear on how or why. (My total order was slightly over $50, so it could be the system gave me the Back to School Free Shipping offer.)

Found quite a bit at K-Mart:

Regarding the front page post about kmart.com, bear in mind that although some of these are listed in stock on the website (eg Apple Tree House and Build-A-Buzz) when you go to checkout, you get a message saying that they are not available for delivery - only for pickup at your local store, if it's in stock.

I brought up Creator Apple Tree House and Atlantis Gateway of the Squid, and both say out of stock or unavailable. Maybe they sold out quickly online.

I'm so tempted to check the Kmart here but it's kinda far and every time I go there I stand in the LEGO aisle and laugh. It's pretty sad. I should take a pic sometime :)

I'm sure you're right, as I gather the sale started yesterday. This morning they were listed as "In Stock" - but you still got the message when you tried to check out with them. I just wanted to point out that there's less in stock than it appears...

I got some freakin amazing deals when I visited kmart today
1st one I got 1 wampa cave for 15 and 3 general grievous for 18.50
2nd one had absolutely nothing
Last one was a surprise, I never been to this kmart at all. Small Lego section but almost all on sale
4 -3178 sea plane at 4.50
3 -3181 city plane at 15
2 -8897 jagged at 7.50
2 -7947 tower at 21
Freeing Dobby for 4.50
7978 angler attack for 7.50
2260 ice dragon for 7.50
7307 flying mummy for 7.50
7279 police minifig for 3.50

I really need to stop looking at this website. It's torture to know that Lego is on deep clearance and my closest Kmart is 12 hours away by plane.

Went to one kmart by my house, they had everything but nothing was on clearance even checked it on the scanner and by an associate. Heading out to two more nearby tomorrow, hope to find some good deals! >_<

Not every Kmart has the same clearance and some have none at all. I was at 3 kmarts today and each had different results.

Just convince yourself that your store would have no clearance. :)

It doesn't matter. I never found any "eye-catching" sale for lego at Bellingham KMart in every visit, so just imagine your local KMart doesn't offer clearance sale.

Great deals at my local Kmart (Central VA). Nothing was marked on disoucnt and there were no signs in the store, but I scanned various sets and some of them came up on deep discounts. I picked up HP Hogwarts Express (30 USD) and The Burrow (22.50 USD).

Yesterday I went to my local Kmart in Avenel, NJ nothing at all was on clearance. Figures because they had everything in stock. Today I went to the Kmart in Somerset, NJ and picked up 2 kingdoms prison towers for 18.50 each, and star wars Snowtrooper battlepack for 4.50, the other battlepacks weren't onsale. I also picked up the Hoth Wampa Cave for 15(not sure if I'm going to keep it.) Next I went to Kmart in East Brunswick, NJ there I picked up the Apple Tree House for 18, 3 Harry Potter Express for 30 each, the seaplane for 4.50, and toy story army men for 5.50(I just had to have them). All in all I drove from my house to both stores and back (driving time 30 minutes.) I intend to give one of the Express sets as a gift, and the 2 others I may keep or sell not sure yet, but at a discount of 50 dollars I couldn't pass it up. The two things I really wanted but couldn;t find were the sports car and the police minifigures, but I guess I'll live.

My Kmarts only had some Hero Factory and one Atlantis set on clearance...yet they had all the Harry Potter sets, all the SW sets in stock too but not on clearance. Gah!
