[USA] Target half lego inventory on clearance 15% - 50%

Blizzard's Peak is a pretty good score for 50%. I don't think you'll find it cheaper as the only place I've seen with sets left of it are Walmart... already sold out in TRU, Target, Kmart, etc.

Airport is a MUST for 50% off... it was hard to find it for 20% off before, and I only see it at about 20% off at Walmart as it's going out.

Atlantis Exploration HQ i'm iffy on. There are a LOT of places with this set still in stock and I think you might be able to nab it for a LITTLE cheaper... but 50% off is a pretty good price, and it's a REALLY nice set when put together... very fun.

Passenger Plane pass on unless your Kmarts are bare. Hit up a K-mart and find you one for $15.

If you passed on those sets, chances are they won't be there when you go back. The other day I was undecided on the passenger plane at 50%, and there were three on the shelf. I wandered around the toy section with my kids and by the time I got back to the LEGO aisle all three were gone.

My advice, if you are on the fence, buy it and you can always return it if you decide you don't like it when you get it home.

I was hoping some stuff at 30% would make it to 50% today, but no luck. :(

Lucant, I need some help. I bought a set at 30% off, I'd love to "return it" and get it for 50% if and when it goes to 50% off. Does the store have to have the item in-stock on the shelf to "register" the next level of markdowns? I think all toys have to be scanned by the associates as they don't do a mass markdown via computer. What do you say at the return desk to make it work? Educate me please! I've always been too chicken to do this but if it works, I'd like to give it a shot. Thanks!

Target Update!
So after finding lovely 7947 Tower Rescue for $18.50, I decided to return the 7947 I bought from Target a week or so ago at 30% off ($34.98). It was the only one at the time, so hence why I snagged it :) Returned it this evening during lunch break, and had scanned the box to copy the UPS to price scan it.... It scanned for $12.48 or something, obvioulsy 75% off! Proof that even if they do not have a specific set in stock, they still will 'further discount' some sets (they probably discount the sold out sets to 75% lol :P).... they just have that "we don't put returns back out until after the store closes" rule so you can't turn around and rebuy.

Debating on weather to go back and look to hope to snag it for $12.48.... but getting a few of them for $18.50 at Kmart... Prolly not.

I was just at the Cupertino, CA Target on my lunch break. The Lego aisle there had a lot of empty space, but all the boxes were aligned straight-on, not picked through or anything. And I think they have 2-3 new display cases up (one with yellow big-rig, one with ninjago, one with Heroica). They didn't have any clearance stickers at all. I think they might be ready to re-stock with a new shipment.

Got the passenger plane for $19.99 in San Diego. They still have a few left in the Plaza Bonita, National City and Palomar/Chula Vista Target stores if anyone in the area is interested. Lots of clearance signs for other sets but looks like they've been pilfered already.

If ANYONE gets Star Wars sets at 50% off or more, PLEASE let me know. For practically any set I'd gladly pay for the set plus S&H to me if anyone wants to grab one. So far by me, my Target has no Star Wars sets on sale with no sign of them being on markdown in the near future.

Target sale here in Austin was pretty dismal. Went looking for army builders for my 6 year old's Kingdoms Castle and found none of the 50% off sets that had been at the store the day before. However, did find a City Fire Ship marked down to $12.48 from $49.99. It was the only one on the shelf. There was also a World Racers Blizzard's Peak that I have been waiting to see marked down to 50%, for $29.99, but I passed after finding the cheaper deal. I only hit the two closest Targets to me, as I could not justify the gas expenditure to go anywhere further away. Saw a lot of Passenger Planes for $19.99 as others have reported, and some Atlantis for $50. The Fire Ship was the big score of the day.

It looks like the fun might be done for me. Went to one of our two Target stores, and no LEGO clearance left. They have tags all over the shelves, but nothing left.

My area really needs a LEGO store. This stuff just flies off the shelf. Every clearance sales is over and done in record time, even with only 25-30% discounts. Plus, if you don't have your LEGO bought by Thanksgiving, you stand almost no chance of finding anything on the shelves until February. Oh well, picked up a few good deals so it was fun while it lasted.

Ya my Targets here are the same... already have the new sets (and the MF is ALREADY sold out) out on display with no sign of any clearance. They didn't mess around this time for very long...
