Re: [WORLD] BN.com 30% off USA MSRP on Non-Licensed LEGO
I have 3 more orders which are now in transit. They were shipped 8th and 9th of August.
Let's see if they will arrive in 2 weeks time. My order during the last round of 30%-off coupon took about a month. But that was because of the CanadaPost strike.
I hope others will also post their waiting time just so everyone have an idea of shipping times.

Well, this morning I got the notice 'Your Order ####### Has Been Delayed' for Republic Frigate. :o
Anyone know how long the delay usually is and if BN ships from multiple locations?
Well, hopefully it won't get cancelled.

^That's great! So at least we have more or less the same waiting time having our orders shipped on the same day.
I just have one question, do you guys think that BN will carry the set Lego 3677 Red Cargo Train?

Re: [WORLD] BN.com 30% off USA MSRP on Non-Licensed LEGO
Yesterday I got the email that my Podracers set had been delayed.
And today I got the notice that it has been shipped!
Thanks to all for finding this deal and updating this thread.
Also, to those wondering about shipping: the first set I ordered that was shipped 7/30 from NJ arrived in Oregon on the 10th day, 8/9.
Still hoping for a 2521 Lightning Dragon and a MF.

My Republic Frigate arrived today, shipped out on July 29. Looks like it takes about 2 weeks for delivery to Canada (that is, at least for us folks in Ontario)!r1chard wrote:I hope others will also post their waiting time just so everyone have an idea of shipping times.

I don't believe BN initially ships from canada; so don't be fooled by the labels. They initially ship from various warehouses in the states to the border. A brokerage firm handles the border crossing into canada. The brokerage firm/distribution company sends the packages out. I have always assumed BN has been paying the brokerage fees all this time.r1chard wrote:^I think they ship from Canada.

Pretty sure it comes from the states, and whatever brokerage fees they pay must be minimal if they dont pass it on to the customer.
PS. FYI to all my fellow Canadians who buy from the states, make sure whoever is shipping it to you does not use UPS! United Parcel Stealers will charge insane brokerage fees, often rendering the savings you get from purchasing stateside null, or even making your purchase more expensive than it would have been if buying from Canada.

Here's another question for ppl who have order Lego from BN.com before, how is the packing and product when they arrive? Are you over all happy with it or have you experienced any problems or nightmares
, like crushed boxes or missing parts etc... with your shipment from BN.com?
Thanks for sharing... :)

missing parts???? if even a possible scenario, that would not be bn's fault!1brickshyofcrazy wrote:Here's another question for ppl who have order Lego from BN.com before, how is the packing and product when they arrive? I agree it wouldn't be BN.com fault for any missing parts that a miscreant has taken and returned or accidentally left out during Lego manufacturing processing.
But has anyone received a box set that was crushed or damaged from BN.com?

Re: [WORLD] BN.com 30% off USA MSRP on Non-Licensed LEGO
I have bought several Lego items from B&N.com and they have arrived in various levels of condition.
King's Castle and Flo's V8 Cafe- perfect condition
Jet Escape - I see a dent - the outer box was 3x the height of the narrow side of the box (i.e. too tall) and the air pillows were lying on top. The outer box was 100% ok looking. Oh well, it's not a big deal to me.
If you want pristine boxes, you realy have to buy them at a brick & mortar store and inspect/choose them yourself. You roll the dice with on-line purchases.

Re: [WORLD] BN.com 30% off USA MSRP on Non-Licensed LEGO
I never had problem with packages from BN.com. The outer box was always way bigger than the lego box, and there were tons of room to absorb hits/pressure. If you are not happy with your item, you may contact BN.com for them to fix the issue. Please let us know how they will response. I think some of us may be interested to know how "well" their customer service is.1brickshyofcrazy wrote:I agree it wouldn't be BN.com fault for any missing parts that a miscreant has taken and returned or accidentally left out during Lego manufacturing processing.

Re: [WORLD] BN.com 30% off USA MSRP on Non-Licensed LEGO
My Frigate arrived in perfect condition. Sith Infiltrator had a slight crease line on the front and back that would certainly offend someone who wants perfect boxes. My MVR arrived in a badly crushed box that had been taped back shut with scotch tape. The MVR box itself was ever so slightly crunched down on the end, but the tape seals had both popped open. The box it had been shipped in was just barely long enough to fit the set, but was about 5x too deep.1brickshyofcrazy wrote:

I live in Malaysia.
The Falling Water set I ordered, arrived in perfect pristine condition, packed inside a larger box with some padding inside. And it arrived in 15 days. Must be some kind of new record.

Wow.... 15 days from order to Malaysia... that IS amazing.
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.
