Ahaha *grooooaaannnn*. I share the entire range of emotions here with the CMFs. I preordered 60 packs from the TRU website. I wonder when they'll ship.

Found a box of Series 5 at Austin, TX Toysrus today on Hwy 35. Feeling the bags took time, but I ended up with the exact ones that my boys want for Christmas (have to get them while you can!). Two lizard-men, two gangsters, one snowboarder, and one boxer. The boxer was tough. I haven't opened them yet, but it seems like the gloves are attached to the body instead of hands. Can anyone confirm this? Most of them were not that difficult to feel, but it takes a bit of time. I knew we got the ones we wanted because I cut a little slit in the bags to verify before I stuff them in the Christmas stockings.

Yes, the gloves take the place of hands.

Thanks for the info. Those pictures are great! Are those new molds for the gangster's gun and the Palace Guard's rifle?

Nothing yesterday at the Appleton WI TRU. Still a couple of boxes of Series 4. I still haven't found the scientist... either I'm mis-identifying him as something else when I feel the packs, or that is the most elusive figure ever. Other than a few Series 1 figures, he's the only figure I've had trouble finding.

He was the last one I found. You want to feel for the hair. It's the more rubbery material (like Kit Fisto) and sort of sticks to the inside of the bag. I couldn't figure out what it was & opened it out of frustration. :)
Disclosure of location should be required when listing your finds!

I have not gone to TRU yet, I did a preorder on-line so I'm trying to wait for those to come in.

BTW, this topic was split from another one, but my reply is first so it looks like I found them at TRU, when in fact I have not (even looked yet).

Seems like someone in the Eurobricks Forums has found series 5 at Five Below stores @ $2.99 each.

Is there a code associated with this series or is it all by touch now?
