the quality of bricks and pieces do not stack up to lego - you can tell the difference. I was tempted to buy 1 or 2 for my son, but one of my converted followers of lego bought several kreo and after building the sets he was not happy with the quality of the plastic and how they snap/align with each other. they need to improve if they are to last in the marketplace

its an interesting trend with MB and lego

MB held the cars licence before going to lego, while spderman started with lego for first two movies (2002-2004) then MB held the marvel licence to put out spderman sets post 2004. With the reboot of spiderman coming, I wonder if any of these companies would carry spiderman again - the spiderman figure will come out as part of the superheroes series though. I don't think it did well from either release, except for select lego sets in the aftermarket.

are the new power rangers sets, specifically the minifigs interchangable with lego minifigs? wouldn't mind making some PR for legos

Actually picked up a bucket of Samsonite at the thrift store the other week. Seems pretty comparable.
