I got my Republic Frigate today! It was packed very similar to LEGOShop so it turned out to be in excellent condition even after more than 2 long weeks of shipping. :D

My worst experience with them was when I order Hogwarts Castle.

I received my Frigate, too. However, it isn't in good condition. Quiet disappointed. The outer box has been crushed, and air bags inside the outer box could not protect my Frigate at all. There are multiple bad crease lines on the front, back and side of the Frigate box. The condition is totally not acceptable for box collector. I guess there was other heavy boxes weighted down on it, and I believe it was done by an idot from post office. If they kept the box straight up and not laying flat, my package will not be damaged. I just had a bad luck.

Thats the condition I got for my Hogwarts Castle last time. I guess it all depends on luck and how the shipping carrier handles it.

^too bad eh. it's really disappointing to get it that way. it's like
30%-off coupon = happiness 100%
ordering the item before it went out of stock = happiness 200%
getting a crushed box = happiness -20%
knowing it was in good cond from US to Canada
then CanadaPost dented it once here in Canada = happiness -50%

my 2 big orders so far are horwarts express and flo's v8 cafe. not really that big.
they came in okay condition. no major dents or creases but there are some.

one tme i bought city corner from BL and the seller just wrapped the box with a brown paper and send it to me to save on shipping. what i got is it is as if you cannot recognized the images on the box. thats how bad the dents and creases are. and considering the shipping time. the longer it travels the more bumps it gets.

I was in a Barnes and Noble store today, and the selection of LEGO products are very limited. All they had were some Architecture sets, Hogwarts Express, City Police Boat, and a few Cars sets. I thought they would have more than just that.

I have visited over 10 different bn stores over several states in the US. They never carried alot of lego sets - its not what they focus on in stores. The guarantee is that there were always architecture series available. Borders was definitely better for the lego sets they carried but unfortunately too much markup to walk in and buy without a 30-40% off coupon.

My MF order was just cancelled! :o

So disappointed, as it had been accepted when I placed order and status indicated it was scheduled to ship on 17 Aug. Did anyone's MF get shipped? Hope this is not another case of QAR.

^Is this for outside US? Sometimes they cater first the US orders if stocks are limited.
Just like kindle last holiday season, all international orders were delayed, but US stocks are plenty

IS this the same case for QAR like before?

I have not recieved an e-mail stating my order was cancelled or changed, but it has changed on the order status page from Unable to process to Expected ship date 08/17 (tommorow) so we will see what happens.

Just received "on its way" email for mfalcon, which will blast off on Aug 17. Hopefully, it will not be getting crush like my frigate.

My Podracers was also cancelled. :( And I used a gift card, I wonder when that $ will be put back on the card.

Does this invalidate this particular coupon for the e-mail account I used?

I also had my podracers cancelled.
@ Atmail, Unfortunately it does invalidate the coupon code for the email you used :(

I had my podracers cancelled too. if you are daring enough (ie not really a kids club member and using code only as an account holder), you can call bn customer service so they can reactivate the code for you to use the coupon again. I actually did sign up kids club recently so that I have a record of that code coming to me via email from bn, so called them up and they reactivated the code for me.

Looks like they also stopped quite a few of the sets from being eligible for the coupon that were previously. Too bad.

Hey guys, I've made an interesting discovery that lets you reuse a single coupon code multiple times on a single account.

Log out of your B&N account, place a qualifying item into your cart (or 'bag') and enter a valid coupon code. It will show you the discounted price; if you login at this point the coupon will still remain active, even if you have already used the coupon for that account! Proceed through checkout as usual.

Of course, you could just sign in as a guest or have a secondary account, but this way your Kids Club points will accumulate quicker (you get a $5 gift card for every $100 you spend) and you avoid the hassle of having two (or more) accounts/e-mail addresses.

I've already tested this once (bought both the Ninjago Fire Temple, which shipped last week and the Sith Infiltrator, which shipped today, with the same D4J7V3X coupon). Today, I placed another order, reusing the A4N4M4V code (Podracers set for the first order and and the Creator Lighthouse island set for the second), and the lighthouse set is scheduled to ship tomorrow!

However, before you reuse a coupon code, I recommend that you wait for at least a shipping notification for your previous order (several orders at once with the same coupon code might get your order flagged).

Hope this helps!

I was waiting to get the lighthouse as well, and was close to deciding to get Fallingwater, too.
It looks like there are still some sets available at discount. I wonder if any will be added as stocks replenish.
