Mario Bros & K'nex?

Post by natelite » Sun Jun 12, 2011 11:18 am

I just spotted the mario bros theme in knex. pretty good stuff. i ended buying 2 sets to collect. i could see the potential for more sets with a larger range of the mario characters. they only have luigi, mario and yoshi for now. looking forward to princess peach, bowser, etc.

if only lego had the license. i could smell the money.

That's unusual.

I saw these too.
I have always dreamed of LEGO/Nintendo partnership, guess K'nex will get a little bit of my money.
I have inoperable cancer and am unable to work. Any gifts would be appreciated. Thank you!

I finally saw these at local wal-mart today, but I would not buy one. It is not the problem related to the design. I played with K'nex few months ago and the bricks/parts were not bonding well. Parts always came off.

I actually saw a Bowser set in ToysRUs and it had a part of the track with it, not a smaller package like the Mario/Racer set.

I noticed that this week (9-18 through 9-24), AC Moore the craft store has Mario Bros Knex for 40% off their price. I did notice that TRU excluded Mario Bros from their sale, but this seems like a good deal lif you are looking for these.

AC Moore also rountinely has 40-50% off coupons for a regular priced item each week so if you miss this sale you can get them for at least 40% off.
