wooow!!!! this is awesome. I could just imagine how much Lego would charge for this and how big the box would be. I'd imagine it would be the castle equivalent of the death star. I really like how detailed the inside is, I have to ask how much this cost and how did you get so many knights?

Look at the size of that thing!
Amazing!
What are the dimensions on that? How long did it take you build it?
Simply amazing. Well done. Very well done!
Who is General Failure and why is he reading my hard disk?

Thanks guys! As far as knights, I have bought a good amount smaller sets and about 3 castles lol. I am afraid to estimate how much I spent on bricklink to build this. I fear if I did my wife would kill me :)
As far as size its roughly 108studs wide and 42 studs deep when opened. I am not sure about the dimensions when its closed as I haven't measured. I worked on it off and on for roughly 6 months. I would say total it probably took me about 4 months to put together.

That is awesome! I really like all the rooms and the effort you put into for the details.

Very nice! I was checking it out at BrickCon but didn't have a good view of the front.

Awesome! This is an amazing work of art. I saw this at BrickCon and I took more pictures of this than any other display. The prison tower rescue is my favorite set of 2010 and I would not hesitate buying this if it were a set

Incredible. I was planning to do a large Dragon Knight castle, but this far exceeds my imagination.

I have seen your Lion castle from your flickr photostream, too. It is elegant and grand. I like the idea that the king tower comes with the royal hall, which could be opened and closed. It is playable and realistic.

Overall, IMO, your lion castle is the best. You are making lion caslte completed.

I will build one like yours when one day I have more room and resource.

I really love the back! It's beautiful with all the stairs and the little bits of yellow really lighten up the darkness. Nice job.
