I can confirm that the 40% off coupon worked fine on LEGO in-store. I also managed to get my 10% membership discount this time. They took the 10% off first and then the 40% off. Unfortunately, there weren't a lot of sets available that we didn't already have.

I've never had an issue getting a Brick and Mortar B&N to give me the extra 10%... that's why I paid $25 for it. And regardless of if they take 10% off first or 50% off, it still ends up being the same price. Either way he's right, it amounts to 55% off.

$100 - 10% = $90 - 50% = $45.
$100 - 50% = $50 - 10% = $45.

However, it didn't go through initially and they did check with their manager that Lego qualified as an "educational toy or game".

The instore coupon is now also a 1 time use code. They use to be 6 digit codes that were the same on all the coupons of that discount amount. Now each coupon has a unique 13 digit 1 time use code.

Even the 'unique' 13 digit codes ultimately turn into the 6 digit codes, mainly used to stop you from using it multiple times Online. However, I do not think they can track 1 time per use IN STORE, as I know i've had MANY different coupons that specifically say "Limit 1 Coupon Per Customer at any store". And I've gone back and bought many items with them.

Does "...they said..." mean a store clerk or the website?

This is the link. I use they coupons all the time and I'm positive its now only once per coupon. The last time this coupon was around I used it 25 times. "They Said" was in reference to the store clerk.

The 40% off one item worked but it did NOT stack with the 10%. Cashier told me it should have worked but it wasn't. 15% off on my coupon as well. What a bummer.

got 30% in one of my emails.

I have four bn accounts, they always provide the larger discount codes for my one membership account. For the other non membership accounts, they always give the lowest discounts (15%).

too bad nothing to get online except bentley bust out and non lego items.

So I used the 40% toy coupon tonight and it did stack with my 10% member discount. So I finally picked up the PotC London Escape for $27. I couldn't pass it up at that price.

The B&N closest to me had lots of Alien Conquest, Architecture, and Harry Potter but nothing else.

I was able to pick up Hogwarts and Hogwarts Express for $80 after tax!
