New collector minifigs at LSAH question

I haven't looked for them yet at the stores, but at LSAH it lists the number of pieces as 1? These don't come at one piece stuck together, do they?

No they are regular minfigs, they even have pics of the parts been interchanged with each other to create your own minifig
Although i have heard that they use the cheaper material like the magnet minifigs , but ill still buy some

I think LEGO officially considers a full figure w/accessories to be one 'piece', as opposed to counting a torso as one piece, legs as another, head as another, etc... I mean, you can take the legs off the hips and the arms off the torso and the hands off the arms - where do you stop counting? It also would skew the piece count - I think when most people look at the piece count of a set, they're not thinking it includes the hands of each minifigure, which would be semi-dishonest, to be frank. Good to see LEGO thinks the same way!

As for the quality of the materials, I'm not seeing a huge difference between in-set figures and these guys. I don't have any of the magnet sets, but I got a free Atlantis Sharkman keychain a while back with a S@H order and it seemed of okay quality.Those keychain figures are glued together.

This probably could have been added to the already-existing topic 2010 LEGO 8683 Collectible Minifigures, however - maybe it will be merged?

Its not 1 piece. Its more than that and some of them even comes with extra pieces.

Its not 1 piece and its actually strange that they consider it so. If anything, I would have thought that LEGO would consider them 1 piece for the whole minifigure, 1 for the hair, 1 for the accessory and 1 for the stand. Their logic confuses me sometimes. Maybe since they're supposed to be sold as 1 'complete minifigure' they only count it as one piece?

That seems like too simple a reason though. They do it for every other set. They don't include the beard, hair, cape, or accessories as 1 piece.

It's inconsistent but they are probably counting just the bag...afterall, there's only one barcode per bag so that may be the reason to stick with that.

I don't know the official answer, but as was mentioned, it probably has something to do with the fact that each one has different accessories, and as such they each would have a different piece count, and as they are selling these as unknowns (surprises) it would be impossible to list an accurate piece count, so just put 1 in.

But what do I know, I'm just an AFOL. :D

where is the picture of the minifigs with their parts mix and matched? On a sheet that comes in the bag? Haven't opened mine yet (Fathers Day).
