Ya, it was around 1:45 am (BC time) here. At first, I thought they messed up as not everything was on sale. But turns out items were slowly getting discounted individually.

Placed 3 orders of LEGO Series 5 Minifigures just to make sure I get a complete set. Price is not bad when it works out to $2.21 each ($2.47 after tax).

Good price on City Advent Calendar too! $24.96 and free ship still. Too bad the Star Wars one is sold out.

Darn, I was up around 1:15am (in BC) and went back to bed after seeing that the sale wasn't on yet - even though the fine print said "sale effective 12am EST".

How can you be sure you'll get a complete set? Three orders of 4 minifigs = 12 figs. It's possible that you may get duplicates, and a complete set is 16 figs...

Yeah, I picked up a City Advent Calendar from chapters.ca this morning - which means I can return the one I got on regular price from TRU!

^you could just go in-store pick the ones you are missing and swap with the duplicates you got online. best of both (instore and online) world.

btw, chapters also sell the blackberry playbook and is now 200$ from 500$.
any suggestion how to maximize points discounts rebates?
