KMART 50% OFF CLEARANCE LEGO

It is that time of year again, Kmart is having 50% off of clearance LEGO. You need to scan the items to know what they have on clearance. Definitely YMMV per store.... Here is what I picked up

8206-1: Tokyo Pit Stop $ 5.50
7188-1: King's Carriage Ambush $ 15.00
7325-1: Cursed Cobra Statue $ 11.00
8897-1: Jagged Jaws Reef $ 5.00

I'm sure there are others that people will find.

The website is listing Atlantis Exploration HQ for $18.50 again and PQ Cursed Cobra for $11.00 - both for store pickup only.

I went to 2 Kmart stores today, and not only were there no LEGO on clearance beyond a few old Hero Factory, there were nearly no LEGO left at all. Looks like the stores never restocked after the summer clearance. Was very strange

Kmart has done this sale (50% off clearance)many times in the past. But I did also read that article today. Will be interesting to see how many stores close up. There are four of them here in the albuquerque area. I was amazed how kmart was able to survive bankruptcy in the past

Me too! I think the reason Kmart is floundering is because their stores are looking more like Big Lots! than Walmart or Target. Their toy section is tiny. Alot of their shelves are not marked with the price and half the time it looks like a tornado hit the place!!

Our little corner of the world here had a KMart, then Sears came and started running things. Now Sears is having a massive blowout and KMart is moving back in. Will someone please make up their mind? Kmart had a better selection of Lego, so I hope it stays around this time...

lots of analysts have already pointed out that the kmart/sears stores do not have the money to refurbish the stores, hence they remain dilapidated and run down, further spiraling it downwards towards its demise.

I got 3 King's Carriages for $15 each today. I checked this Kmart back in June/July (last 50% offer), and they did not have these sets. So to the above poster, my Kmart restocked since the last sale. I'm checking another Kmart tomorrow.

[edit] Just got back from Kmart 30 minutes from here. No Lego deals at all.

I visited three Kmarts in the North Bay Area.. all three had little left on shelves in general.

Petaluma had 2 Buzzs Star Command 7593 sets for $7.50 .. I scooped those up, but though it odd as those were blown out over the summer.

Santa Rosa had 10 Atlantis Exploration HQ sets (8077) for $18.50 .. It was as if someone found a case or two in the back room and put them on the shelf.. since there wasn't much of anything else there. note:I didn't get any.. they're all yours.

I dont know how many of you have Kmarts around but i found them to have the greatest clearance deals of all! Selection was not as great as walmart or target but discounts were deeper. Atlantis Exploration HQ was 18.50, Cursed Cobra Statue was 11.00. Unfortunately, all old Star Wars sets were already gone by the time I made it there, but good buys none the less. Also found great buys on Star Wars action figures (2.50 ea.) and some of the other stuff (Bobba Fett helmet for 13.50).

Stopped in KMart in Manhattan this morning. Lego shelves were almost completely empty. A few stragglers left but only one on clearance - Atlantis Exploration HQ @ $18.50.

Yes it is. I saw the skeleton Ninjago spinners at $2.50 but even at that price they're hardly worth it.

I decided to stop by Kmart, the sign says addl 50% clearance is through 1/7. I did not find one LEGO clearance item. I also scanned some POTC, Cars and others and all were full price. Oh well.
