CMF Series 5 rang up 50% off last night. They weren't marked, but the price came up $1.50. Don't know if that's been posed yet or not, so forgive me if it has...this thread is getting LONG!

Lee's Summit, Mo, south of Kansas City. I saw today that there was one lone price tag sticker on the last box marking them 1.50. I mashed some around and took a few home but didn't go crazy. The craziness has already happened...!

Yeah. I did check a bunch of sets when I was there today. Almost all were a few dollars off but nothing insane. The CFMs were 2.97. I did score a lone 1600 XML box for 15 but that was it.

New wave is completely YMMV. Some stores in my area had all HP and AC on discount. Other's had only some. I even had a store that was trying to get full price for Cars2 sets still.

Found 2 Kings Carriage Rescue's and 14 Blacksmith shops, and I love castles so I snagged them. I can either resell them, or have an awesome Dragon army.

if any of you are in the miami-dade area, the wal-mart on 87th in Doral is VERY well-stocked. there were several sets that were not marked down but were on clearance. as of today, they were in stock with just about everything that was mentioned in this thread. to name a few:

hogwarts express
palpatine's shuttle
blacksmith attack
cursed cobra
sphinx
golden staff guadians
mill village raid
king's carriage ambush
tokyo pit stop

and several others. i ended up getting two blacksmiths, a golden staff guardian, and palpatine's shuttle. basically the only thing i didn't see was the burrows and the pyramid. definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area, they are EXTREMELY well-stocked without clearance tags.

Nah, the Black Pearl just launched in early November. It won't be retired for some time yet. The Queen Anne's Revenge might.

I just saw them back on the shelf for regular price, with a regular tag, no red sale/clearance tag...but some are reporting 25% both pirate ships.

I love the hunt lately at all the walmarts... some good find some just blah.

I stop by right after christmas, 12/26 to about 6-7 walmarts from St. Louis back to Kansas City, and my roommate stop from Wichita ks to Kansas City. Here is our find from couple weeks ago.

Found almost all the same sets like everyone's find.... some stand out were 6 slave 1 at the chesterfield boones crossing store, Wentzville had ok sets, the BEST WAS Warrenton, outside of st. louis off highway 70. They had so much left over it was ridiculous, it's like no body had touch it, i wouldn't be surprise that there are so much stuff left. the coolest find i think was city fire truck 7239 for $10 usd.

Also my friend stop by the Emporia, KS i think that's between witchita and kc. They had a giant selection and also no one touch it! He got 4 HP burrows, fire temple, city of atlantis, 14 kingdom ambush/prison rescue/blacksmith, 4 village raid...amount the few.

I read that there are a second round of clearance, so i went around Kansas City area again.
Want to the Olathe store and found a apple tree house for $21. went to Roeland park walmart and found AC headquarter, and a seaplane for $5 usd. (they have a bunch of stuff left like freeco, plokoon, ninjago, etc.) . Went to Liberty, mo and they had a "kingdom prison tower rescue" for $35. nothing really at the one by the kc airport i think they had minifigure display case on sale for $19. The largest sale was at the gladstone, mo walmart.
i got lots of stuff there.
3 duplo first time set for $7
i found 10+ city off road fire truck for $11 (not really on sale, but i still got 2-3)
2 HP bus $25
1 HP small hogwarts $35
they have the mater for 21, atleast 3 hogwarts castle for $99 and there are every possible discount on AC, HP, and many others. (there are still soooo much left, if you want deals and in the KC area, go to that area)

I know that exact WM. I'm from Miami. It's the one with the giant "we export" ad on the roof for planes landing at MIA. Great location - always find bargains there.

nice! i'm originally from tampa, but i live in miami for school. that walmart is really huge. their lego stock is insane. they're going through renovations right now, so i can't wait to see what it looks like once it's all cleaned up :)

I visited those St. Louis-area stores after you, and it became very clear I was retracing someone's steps who had much more luck; with me just cleaning up the scraps.

I've had good success, not only locally but also in western TN and in St. Louis. There's been SO many great deals, I just don't have the money to buy them all. I had the chance to buy at least 20 slave 1's, 50+ star wars battle packs (also the same number of blacksmith & freeing doby sets), 20 HP burrows. Several scorpion pyramids, AC HQ, etc. Even a few HP hogwarts express's for $39.90. Tons of advent calanders on the Monday after Christmas.

There are several things I haven't seen but there was no way to buy all that I did see. One store had 5 full boxes of minfigs for $1.50 each. One store had 30+ hoth battle packs. One store had 12 slave 1 sets. It just comes down to what you really want and (more importantly) what you can afford. Fortunately (I guess) Shop @ home was extremely under-whelming, so I had more money to spend at Walmart!

I am really bummed because the things I wanted weren't there or not on sale. I ended up grabbing General Grievous' ship and the Ninjago Earth Dragon. Everything else was tempting, but I am about 30 sets back logged.

lol, was that single atlantis set the deep sea diver one? haha. i did notice my walmart had the boba fett watches with the boba fett minifig for 19.. i see on shop@home at they are 24 and some change. so i guess they were marked down or something.
