TRU is having $10 off $50 Lego purchase excluding "friends" from 1/8-1/14. Remember to use up your Lego dollars and TRU 10% back before they expires.
They also have free shipping for orders over $75.

Problem is, with 99% of their sets still sitting wayyyyyyy above RRP it doesn't help much...

Only deal I can see this week would be on the online exclusives. These are the ones instock right now. Notice that they have 2 versions of the shuttle set for sale.
- 10218 Pet Shop
- 10197 Fire Brigade
- 10193 Medieval Market Village
- 10231 Shuttle Expedition
- 10213 Shuttle Adventure

When consumers stop paying them. I have noticed that some prices are lower in-store than online. I wish they really were having another bogo, since they have the pet shop and fire brigade back in stock.

It could be because "Not valid with any other "R"Us total transaction offer"
EDIT: Never mind, it states "This promotional code has expired"
Since that promo is supposed to be going until 1/15 and their high frequency of changing the code, I won't be surprised if they are charging it now. Watch for a new code here

I'm sick of their prices. I did find some regular price ones. Lightning dragon battle, tokyo international circuit, garbage truck getaway, speedboat, lighthouse polybag, jet ski polybag, lego board games, a few of the atlantis sets and the sets ice mentioned. Did I miss any?
Funny Quidditch Match is still $37.99 (and instock).

The TRU "Christmas" codes have expired as of 1/7/2012. It appears their web page defaulted back to last years final code. You can see that the expiration date is 1/15/2011. That was last years end of this promotion.

I actually saw the reverse... TRU.com prices were actually lower online than they were in store. I had planned out my TRU dollars, but the huge price differences made me change it up. I know I will be holding off buying from TRU until they start offering discounts greater than 15% off real MSRP.
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

Actually the opposite...they raised it again the past week!!
Taking the 5 theme packs, Lego Friends was $9.99 online, $11.49 in stores
They are now $11.99 online, $13.99 - $14.99 in stores.
Guess they figured they were charging too little
And I was hoping for some good news with my TRU bucks & dollars expiring this week.

I have been hoping to use mine on Series 6, since they are due out this week. Although aside for using up the dollars I will buying from the lego store. TRU tax is getting ridiculous. Its such a shame most of the general public don't seem to realise, allowing TRU to perpetuate this.

I had to go check my credit card statement to confirm that perhaps I shouldn't purchase the Medieval Market Village, despite the fact that it's worth plenty in parts and resale. ;)

Wow, Friends has been available for 1 week and they have already increased the price?
I guess I'm happy I used my rewards early last week!
I wonder if I can buy ITunes gift cards, if they sell them, with the e-cards/merch credits I stock-piled.
