Re: Target Valentine's day 2012 seasonal polybag(s)?
As usual Target's in this area close to me doesn't have anything new out yet and is always a few weeks to a month behind of course unless someone is buying out the stock before I can see it and get it in which case would really sux.

Has anyone seen any other new polys besides the Friend Mailbox ones? I haven't been back to Target since last week. It's now only 12 days til Valentine's Day, they should be out already right (any of the polys)? I mean it's less than two weeks.

Some stores have a quartet of polys, but they aren't 'new': a black tiny turbo racer, a SW set (republic shuttle, I think), the atlantis octopus, and the Toy Story Army Men. Oddly, I saw this in the regular LEGO aisle, and not in the Valentine's section.atmail35 wrote:Has anyone seen any other new polys besides the Friend Mailbox ones? Check online or at one of the in-store scanners with the DPCI number. A number of Targets in Dallas area said yes during an on-line search but nothing was to be found on the store shelves. I checked a scanner terminal in-store and it indicated they had them in stock but were not being shelved for some odd reason. I took the DPCI picture from earlier in this thread to customer service and they had a stock person bring one up to me for purchase- I only asked for one... It took a bit of work, but this will probably work for those of you looking for this set... (Only one store in Dallas was listed as out-of-stock during the online search, Montfort Rd for those playing at home...) Combine this with the free TRU Lemonade stand we picked up on Saturday and my 5 year old girl is having a good LEGO Friends weekend. Happy Hunting...

I've checked over half a dozen Targets in WI and MN, and none of them have anything in the LEGO bins in the Valentines section. I wonder what the deal is, did a shipment get lost somewhere along the way? It seems like this LEGO Friends set would be perfect for Valentines day, but a week out and no sign of it makes me think it isn't going to make it. It is interesting to me that on the planogram they reserved a space for LEGO, yet none of the stores have anything to put in the space.
Re: Target Valentine's day 2012 seasonal polybag(s)?
i think people came in and bought up the sets. at my Target the bin marked for friends lego set is gone, never saw them there.
I have inoperable cancer and am unable to work. Any gifts would be appreciated. Thank you!

I went back to the Target where I bought the Friends poly. There were none on the floor. I checked the scanner and it did say "in stock room". I printed the slip and took it to an employee. He called the stock room and they asked how many I wanted. They then brought the items to the customer service desk for me. So odd, it's like others have said that these are not intended to be put out on the floor! Maybe they will go out with the "Easter basket stuffers"?
I'm really confused on what Target intends to do with these!

could just be the employees hogging them for resale or ebay. the target stores near my house never put out any cmfs before series 5. on the few occasions i showed up at customer service and asked for them, they would never bring them out. the guy would just keep saying they need 10-15mins to locate the stock but they never did. i just gave up and left.
also for series 5, i never see them until they were clearanced. series 5 was a big flop since you still find plenty of these in tru. i think the employee who was hogging series 5 gave up after not able to ebay them for a profit hence i could get them but only during clearance.
there is a very good rule for target sale hunting, which is you never call to ask about availability because the employees will get them first if they know it's a good deal.
just search for target clearance on slickdeals. plenty of people with the same experience.

I guess the solution is to work for Target? That way you could be the first one to get all the good deals.

Re: Target Valentine's day 2012 seasonal polybag(s)?
I have the same problem here. For the last two weeks, I've seen nothing. But the day before it's suppose to be on clearance, they are stacked. The following day, they are gone. I'm talking 5 stores in two states doing the same thing. WTF!?!?!?

Anyone seen these on sale during Valentine clearance?
Re: Target Valentine's day 2012 seasonal polybag(s)?
Yes, I found one at my local Target (My Target never actually brought them in, so I'm assuming it was a return) for 50% off today.
Re: Target Valentine's day 2012 seasonal polybag(s)?
I checked another Target and lunch and found a few more - they are definitely 50% off. My son is not interested in Friends at all, but I picked up a few in case anyone would like to trade for other polys. PM me if interested.
Re: Target Valentine's day 2012 seasonal polybag(s)?
I scanned it at two separate Targets so it seems like perhaps Target-wide it is 50% off. I wonder when Valentine's will reach 75%...although I doubt any will be left.

Just returned from a Target store and they got 40-50 of them in the Valentine's clearance aisle....atmail35 wrote:I scanned it at two separate Targets so it seems like perhaps Target-wide it is 50% off. I wonder when Valentine's will reach 75%...although I doubt any will be left.

Easter Bags are up...
Found these at local Target for 50% off- 1.99 each. There were a couple with the clearance Valentine section and then about 10 back in the toy department clearance endcap.
They also had Easter/Spring section up and it contained two Lego Poly Bags- the Harry Potter Lab set and a Police Car. I looked at the tag and it appeared they shared a DPCI code between both sets... should be fun at clearance time...

I never even saw these once at my Target. Was there the day they put out all the items and they never once appeared. Now that everything is on clearance I'm kind of hoping that something shows up for Easter.
