I went to a Kmart one hour away from the originally posted store and nothing was on clearance. I inquired, and the manager stated the "stores get their clearances at different times"

Gold River had most of the sets reported in stock, but not a single one on clearance. Lots of other toys on tables marked 50% additional off.

I scanned several to check.

I was at Saugus,MA Big K this morning (Boston area). Nothing in the 50% off clearance. They had a couple clearance-marked Queen Anne's Revenges at $90 and a Duplo Cars set for $15. That's it for Lego clearance there. Cross that one off.

Found 1 Gunship and 1 Marina Boat at the clearance price. The Mill (3 sets on the shelf) rang up full price. Nothing was tagged clearance. The few other 2011 sets rang up normal price.

I'm in Canada, BC and went to the Big K-Mart in Bellingham, WA, no items on sale there !
I scanned one item and ask an employee.

I was able to find the Power Boat Transport for $15.00.
They were not stickered as being discounted at all.
In fact everything on the Lego aisle had their normal price tags listed on the shelf.
I scanned everything. Only the Power Boat Transport was reduced in price.
This was in Long Beach, CA. at the store off of Bellflower blvd.

I'll definitely do that next time. I had a cranky baby in tow today, and nothing that was in stock was anything I needed (really wanted those Podracers). Also, at this particular K-Mart in the past, I've never found a non-stickered clearance that scanned as less (across all toys). Although that doesn't mean it won't ever happen!

I went to the Tewksbury, MA location and the only marked down set they had was POP the ostrich race. I picked up the last 2 for $7.50. All other sets were full price, I checked a few to be 100% sure.

Did you physically scan them? If they had the yellow clearance sticker, then they should be half off that price... so the QAR should be $45.

Billerica MA had nothing. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say if you haven't seen things in the 50% clearance, it's not just going to jump there without going through lower discounts (25%) and I sincerely doubt it would be getting an additional 50%. The sets are all there, whether or not they start getting discounted remains to be seen but I really doubt it's happening in MA at the moment. I'm not wasting any more time and gas until I hear something more solid.
