Mini LEGO Store Model Set

Anyone know how early Mayfair Mall in Wauwatosa opens its doors? I know what time the mall officially opens from their website, but I also know that most malls open the doors earlier than that so that mall walkers can get in their laps before the mall opens. Since it's a 2 hour drive for me, I'm trying to figure out how early I need to hit the road.

My goodness, I'd kill for one of those stores. Have to make some time on Memorial Day weekend to head down to Peabody. Hopefully the weather will be gorgeous and that will keep the crowds down.

I'll get the images uploaded here when I get home, but if you can't wait that long -- and have no hope of getting to one of the above stores -- you can downlaod the instructions from LEGO.com already (thanks to voyanuitoa for finding them!). It looks to be mostly made from common parts so you should be able to have a go at making it from parts in your collection.

So looks like this model is only available in these 2012 LEGO store openings. That means we should expect to see other exclusive models in the future.

In regards to double promos - they usually don't do it: "free promotional offers include one free offer per order". Hence they might do it on a case-by-case but not as a rule of thumb.

Woah, shame I won't be able to get one of those mini stores... lots of nice pieces, especially the trans-clear 1x1 round tiles and headlight bricks!

Wow! I would buy one of those! It sucks that they do such cool grand store opening give-aways and never have it available for sale. Maybe I'll try to piece it together on my own. The big challenge looks to be the logo sticker.

I plan on driving 6 hours with my 7 year old to camp out. Do I have a problem?

It doesn't matter, it's fun and it'll be an adventure. There are worse things to do with your kids :)

Houston gets a 3rd store and a tiny town outside of Rochester, NY gets one but Pittsburgh, PA is still waiting on our first? What the crap, LEGO!? Sorry to be a poor sport but I don't know what they're waiting for.

I contacted Lego to inquire as to when the Elizabeth New Jersey store would open. They could not provide any info :(

I would feel kind of guilty if I bought an item and "re-lined" up before the rest of the crowd outside could get in. But at the same time I would also like two of the LEGO store set, so I don't know...

I could not think of any SW set that I am so desperate to purchase at CDN MSRP. I doubt if any forum member would re-lined up for this Vancouver event while they understand that they don't have to pay CDN MSRP for a lego set.

Both TC-14 and the lego store mini model are very tempting, and TC-14 is a must. Unfortunately, I really have to think if it is worth to spend the line-up time and make extra damage to my wallet.

Same here. I really don't want to lineup (maybe for hours) to pay full Canadian price plus that ridiculous 12% HST tax. :(

If they were selling the sets at US prices, then that would be a different story. But TC-14 and the store mini model is very tempting...
