Update: This deal seems too good to be true so these character minifigures may only be in-game. We can only hope that these are actual physical minifigures, but the chances of that would be quite slim.

EB Games Australia has once again put up another exclusive offer when you pre-order the upcoming LEGO Batman 2 Video Game. In addition to the Power Armor Lex minifigure, you can also now get these 5 LEGO Villain Minfigures. However, note that the bonus villain minifigures are only when you pre-order the game in the Xbox360 or Playstation 3 platforms. No news whether this offer will be made available in North America yet. (via FBTB)

WHAT!!! This is awesome. It also lets me believe that Flash will have a decent part in the game considering Captain Cold and Gorilla Grodd are normally his villians. Aquaman should make an appearance with Black Manta. And maybe SHAZAM!(captain marvel). Now to see Green Lantern and some of his villians....lego Sinestro please!

I do hope this comes to the USA like Lex Luthor is.

It sounds like some people are talking about these characters as if they are physical minifigures. These are in-game characters. Lex is a physical product though. Still hope it comes to USA as I might buy Batman 2 this way.

These might be a digital in-game character packs. Seems too good of a deal to get Lex AND 5 other physical figures.

I'm thinking the villains pack is digital, but the website certainly isn't helping to clarify.

Yeah, I'm sure they are just character skins and not real mini figures. They'd probably have shown the actual figures like Lex if they were figures instead of the digital art of Cold and Black Adam (why does he have BROWN hair though? Come on Lego! He's got black hair!). I hope I'm wrong, but getting 6 figures for free from ordering a game is just too good to be true.

I just wish you didn't have to buy this game to get Luthor though. I want all of the actual Legos, but don't really care for the games, even though I have a 360.

Regardless of being physical or nonphysical minifigs I'm taking it as an awesome sign of things to come as the Superheroes line expands... seeing second-tier players like Iron Fist and Captain Cold making the rounds really shows they're going all the way with this.

I got so excited when I first read this. My wallet is happy it's only a game pack, but the kid in me is saddened. Getting the Superman, Wonder Woman, Wolverine, etc is a childhood dream come true. Captain Cold isn't difficult to create as they already have the hood mold. I can only hope they expand the physical line to more heroes and villains.

That is exactly how I feel! It's great for a comic book geek like me to see these characters in LEGO form, regardless if it's in a video game. It does leave some hope that we might see these actual minifigs, possibly in some Justice League-themed sets!

since it's only on the PS/360, it's DLC. The wii usually is opted out in DLC. Spiderman games were a similar thing with the extra skins. Pre-order Edge of Time and you get 5 skins not available on the Wii.

Most likely a redemption code of some kind.

Black Adam is a good sign That Captain Marvel is in the game! Hopefully they'll show up in physical form sometime soon.

If this is truly DLC, I can see no reason why this pack won't be available in the US. I almost pre-ordered when I found out about the Lex Luthor mini, but now I'm going to hold off for a bit to see if I can score these five.
