They have landed in the Northern Calif. Bay Area. I found them at Kmart Redwood City. $2.99 They were in the Cardboard display box but it had no pictures on the sides. I had to purchase one, open it up and use the minifig poster to help with the "feel" method. I managed to find all that I wanted.

:-D It's here in Los Angeles County, California!

Found one box in ToysRUS in Lancaster, CA! Woo Hoo!
Did a lot of squeezing and found the Bride, the Viking chick, the Aztec warrior, Space warrior and the Ocean King. No repeat yay! [*]

HINT: Look for bulky bag if you're looking for Aztec warrior (the helmet shape is very distinct).
Same thing for the Space warrior because his armor is also bulky and has a distinct shape. For Ocean King you got to feel for the flick of tail, it has an "L" shape. Feel for the skirts for the girls.

Stopped @ TRU hunting mainly for Batman Polys.. no luck, but on way out saw a Red Box by the Register! It was still pretty full, if not untouched, really out of sight unless you were looking for them ;)

Didn't even stutter-step on the way out. I cracked a smile, but decided I'll just wait until Wal-mart and Target get them for $2.99, instead of $3.99 or maybe $3.49 if i'm "lucky". They're putting out a much bigger volume now, that the rush to grab your complete set isn't there anymore like it was for 1-3. I still see 3 boxes of CMF5 at 1 Walmart, stubbornly sitting at $2.98. Plenty of CMF6 at Target.

Good news: They have arrived in Florida. No rush to buy them now though ;)
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

Found series 7 at the far north TRU in Austin, TX!

Oddly enough, they were priced at $3.49, even though the store had increased Series 6 to $3.99. Was I lucky or are others seeing this too?

One box seemed untouched, but it turned out someone had picked out all the Space Marines. Had to crack open another case to get one, doh. Gonna hold off on getting extra Valkyrie until this series shows up en masse at other stores.

I saw the same thing with the prices at the TRU in San Diego today. Saw a guy feeling through them when I got there but I did manage to find a Galaxy Patrol, Ocean King, and Grandma’s Visitor. Also grabbed a couple of Series 6. Paid only $8 for 8 minifigs since I had a gift card :-D

There were five full boxes of Series 7 minifigs at TRU in Ventura, CA yesterday. They rang up at $3.49 each but I used my 20% off coupon and the cashier added a $5 off coupon to my purchase so they came to just $2.60 each.

The wholesale cost has gone up to almost $2 each since series 6, I'm guessing they are raising the price on these most places to make up for the rise in cost.

I only know this because my wife works as an assistant buyer at a northwest retailer, and we get to buy them at cost+10% until series 6 I would buy them for $1.37 each, I went to buy series 6 and they were $2.04, not complaining by any means but I'm sure this is why many retailers seem to be raising the prices on the most recent CMF series.

My fellow Canadians! Just came from my local Walmart store (Markville Shopping Center) and found two cases of Series 7! Priced at $3.28, they're the same price as Series 6. I was worried that we'd see a price hike in these!

For Series 6, I took the time to feel for all 16 figs in one shot, but got home and realized that half the fun is going on the hunt sporadically searching for those last few you need to complete the set. This time, I figured I'd take my time to complete this set, so I just randomly plucked out 4 packs. As of now, there's about a case an a half left at the Markville store. Happy hunting!

Walmart in Huntington Beach, CA (South of the 405) has 'em in stock. They were in an endcap display but the whole thing is just laying on the bottom shelf in the Lego section. $2.97 each.

The TRU nearby also had 3 boxes yesterday. $3.49 each.

Just left Fred Meyer in SE Portland Johnson Creek location, they have 3 boxes. All pretty full for the most part. Grabbed about 20, only 2 repeats. These ones seem a bit more difficult when it comes to the "feel" method. Saw several parents that must've thought I was crazy standing there with a ton of the bags, squueezing each one!! Haha. Anyway, they're there if you want to go get 'em!!!! :-D :-D

They've been at TRU and Target here for a few weeks, but I finally found some at a Walmart here! That's a first for this area. Until now TRU and Target only carried them around here.
