I see that shop.lego.com has series 5 still listed but sold out @ $1.98. Were they really available at that price?

Just purchased a sealed, complete set of 60 from TRU Niles, Illinois. once the BOGO50% deal is one later, I'll take my receipt in and have it adjusted to the lower price.

I happened to go to two MA LEGO stores this week and neither had S7...I guess they are holding out for May 1? Is that even the official release date? Of course that is the night of the mini model build so it could be worse than usual.

Found at Appleton WI TRU tonight. At $3.49 I decided to grab a few, but didn't have the time or inclination to search for a complete set. Picked up seven, all unique. I only made one mistake, I thought I had a hippie, but I really had the bride (which I wanted more anyway). Don't let the flowers fool you, you have to check for the 'dress' slope to know for sure. Also picked up the bagpiper, that bagpipe is one strange piece when you feel it in the bag. If you find something really weird, it's probably that. My favorite that I picked up tonight has to be the evil knight, what a great figure. I'm hoping to find a few more of those. Didn't find a space marine, I suspect that perhaps those were snatched before I got to the store, the box looked fairly picked over.

the space marine package is bigger than most, if you feel it over and over the package can rip easily, saw one of those at Fred Meyer the other day =)

I'm still waiting for Walmart and Target here to have them in San Diego. I've been to a couple of the stores and none seem to have any which is very surprising.

You should be getting them soon. Hit 2 WalMarts here in Orange County yesterday and both had them, but they were almost gone. Looked like experienced bag feelers hit one of the Walmarts as most left were bagpipers and tennis players. Got lucky and found 1 galaxy patrol fig at other Walmart.

There are Series 7 bags at the TRU Express in San Bruno, CA, but they're $3.99.

I used the in-store $10 off $50 TRU coupon plus the current $10 off $50 LEGO construction promo to buy a bunch of S7 today at my local TRU - they came out to about $2.38 each.

Got 15 Series 7 minifigures at the Ft Myers, FL Toys or Else ($3.50 per). Using the $10 off $50 or more sale, that brought them down to $42 - and with sales tax, they came to just short of $45 - or the regular retail price. Not a great deal, but I did get a bagpiper (highly desired) and a Poseidon (also desired) - and 3 of the dark blue space guys (not so desired), I like the Tarzan - he goes well with the Chimpeologist and Big Ape from other series. Mae tennis player can now go sets with the female player from another set (no "love" there).I like the viking woman - she may set sail on my viking ship with the Viking warrior from a previous series (does this mean the opera is over now that the 'fat lady" can sing?). Will we see drummers for the rock band or the bagpiper/highlander/Royal Guards? A nice variety of "historical" warriors forming up. If I get enough they may choose sides for a Chess game. Does anyone use these warriors in games like White Wolf or World of Warcraft? Could be pretty cool with architectural pieces to match.

The LBS in Braintree, MA had Series 7 this AM. still limit of 16 and $2.99 each. I didn't have time to really do a good job of feeling the bags, so I hopefully have a decent variety with the 16.
