The Wizard of Oz is a good idea.

Wizard of OZ isn't that far fetched and would probably be pretty cool.

One I'd love to see is A Game of Thrones, but I know that would never happen unless Lego starts an exclusive adult-aimed series.

yes, game of thrones is epic. but you don't need license for epic medieval theme. just about any rpg or mmorpg is based on epic medieval theme. they just need to come up with something they own. as i mentioned plenty of times before. just go minifigure scale on heroica and see sales go up and up! easy!

You can always use your sean bean/ boromir minifig to reenact eddark stark scenes and there are existing minifig bodies that would work,http://www.bricklink.com/browseList.asp ... ring=9.744 the lion knights could be red and gold lannister? http://www.bricklink.com/browseList.asp ... ring=9.286 Starks?

Yeah, I've been planning on doing that exactly! You can't get closer to Ned Stark than using Boromir as a base!

And yeah, the red and gold lion knights will be perfect for Lannisters. Its like Lego was even trying to do them!

It also shouldn't be too difficult to create a Daenerys Targaryen minifig. Just add some baby dragons! :)

I'd love to see TLG do some classic novels stuff, like Jules Verne (The Time Machine, War of the Worlds, 20,00 Leagues Under the Sea, etc.) Moby *, Three Musketeers, Frankenstein, Dracula, The Wolfman, etc. They could be a theme with just one or two sets each, or maybe one set per author/title. Anyhow, just an idea.

And for those who might think that SW is done, the expanded universe (pre and post episodes 1-6) is tremendous with an ever expanding amount of very good material to draw from.

I do agree Wizard of Oz would have enough locations, Characters, and Iconic Buildings

We Would have:
Professors Marvels Cart
Dorthy and The Crashed Farmhouse
Munchkinland and Glenda the Good Witch
The Tinman and the Woodcutters Shack
The Cornfeild and Scarecrow
The Woods and Lion
The Haunted Forst and the Flying Monkeys
Emerald City
The Witches Castle
Professor Ozmandius and the Hot Air Balloon

Well, they do have the new Monster sets coming out plus there was the recent mini figure series figures as well as the movie maker monsters. So I don't see specically licensed Monsters happening when they can keep making them as unlicensed ones. But I'm all for more Monsters. I'd really like to see them make a Bigfoot and Nessie in this new Monster line!

Well lets see, they already have the Marvel and DC superheroes going now. Lord of the Rings is on its way. I can see a line of Jurassic Park stuff. They jumped on the monster line already with those coming this fall. Back to the Future looks like it may be a go. They have such a great variety already. It's hard to guess on what new series to add. I do wish they would make the architectural series larger. I want a large White House that i can look inside and see the oval office. I want a Sears Tower that stands 4 or 5 feet tall. Plus they could expand into some more places that have religious significance such as Solomon's Temple. The Parthenon. How about the Great Pyramids? The area in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade where they find the knight...i forget its real name....you know, in the canyon of the crescent moon? How about the Forbidden City of China? And Star Wars is nowhere near done. There are so many untapped scenes they could do. The Cantina. Naboo Royal Palace. Yavin Temple. The Jedi Council Chamber. Emperor's Throne Room. Endor Shield Generator. Vader's Meditation Chamber. I could go on. Now Star Trek would be a great line as it has many ships that could be done. But it looks as if Kreo is getting the license for the next Star Trek movie so that's probably out of the question now. SInce anything Lego does has to be age appropriate, the Scooby Doo and Wizard of Oz ideas are probably good choices. I am really running out of ideas for new lines, especially since they ones we have have so much more potential. I just recently started collecting Lego but there is so much cool stuff that i am already overwhelmed with trying to keep up with everything i would like to collect. I hope they continue to expand the lines they have and the ones that are coming this fall. So many goodies to collect! :)

Now that the final show in the franchise has been cancelled I know its never gonna happen, but I would have loved to see Stargate Lego. Not the movie, which was Meh, but stuff from the first two shows especially (SG-1 and Atlantis). Death Gliders, puddle Jumpers, Wraith Darts, Stargate command, the city of Atlantis, Aasgard mother ships, the list goes on.

How about "A Christmas Carol"? You could do the traditional one or even the Disney version... either way you could have some great victorian scenes and great minifigs from the classic story, such as:

Scrooge's Mansion
Scrooge & Marley Counting House
Fezziwig's Christmas Party
Bob Cratchet's House

I recall Hasbro announced the Star Trek license a while ago, but pics are sneaking out ahead of the SDCC debut...
