Hope its as good as their others. I really hope they vary it a bit more though. You essentially get the same game no matter which one you buy : |

I wonder when 'this summer' since Batman 2 is in June and just a month or two apart seems a bit close. I wonder what mini figure exclusive they'll offer with this.

They don't seem to have much info on it. Methinks they are talking about the Hobbit game already revealed several months ago, and the release will be this fall/winter, NOT summer.

Yeah, I think the "summer" reference came from the image that was used, which is probably associated with the actual sets. I read elsewhere that the release date for the videogame is October 26th.

I stand corrected. There is an advertisement for a LotR video game as well in the back of all the instruction booklets. Hmm...

I can't wait to see all the various characters you'll be able to play as in free play mode! I wonder if Lego will be able to do characters that didn't appear in the movies (like Tom Bombadil or barrow wights). I know at one point the LOTR license was split between characetrs appearing or inspired by the movie property and the property of the books themselves.

I hope we see a Baelrog Lego set like that in the future!
