I showed this to my son and he wants to work on it. Could I submit his work? I read the rules but he's 8 years old and really wants to enter this contest.

All minors under the ages of 14 are not allowed to use this site. However, if you are a parent/guardian submitting your child's entry on your behalf, then its ok.

So if I were to create a 1 minute video using the app, am I allowed to open the video file on a separate editing program and add in nothing but music/sound effects? Cause the video will be quite boring with out and sound effects or music.

I just tried the App, and even for something that is targeting children, it feels pretty bare-bones. One suggestion (in addition to what everybody else has said) is to add support for more than one piece of music per video.

I do like the 'onion peel' tool, which superimposes the previously shot frame over the current one. Pretty useful.

I really like the look of Iron Man & Captain America minifigs so I'll probably throw together an entry if I get the time.

In addition to my last comment, the only Superheroes minifigure I have is Batman. Am I allowed to including other generic City minifigs in the video or does it have to only consist of SH minfigures?

In order to be consistent and fair to everyone, you are only able to use the app's functions (so no outside music). I don't have an iPhone myself so I don't even know how this app works. But from the comments I've been reading, it seems like music is available.

As long as it has to do with LEGO Superheroes, its ok. In this case, yes, you can use your City Minifigures to make a video with Batman. :)

Yes, we're pretty flexible here. :)

• Movie must be created using the Superheroes Movie Maker App
• Movie must be related to LEGO Superheroes
• Duration should be no longer than 1 minute
• Entries must be new and created by you
• All basic contest rules followed

I would also like to highlight that Entries MUST BE NEW (as stated in the contest rules). This also means that you can't use it to enter other contests, freebies, raffles, etc. We don't want people recycling entries as its just not fair to everyone else.

Man, I envy those of you with an IPAD. Doing this on a Touch is hard. No matter how hard you try, half your frames are out of focus. GRRR. I wish this app would let you add custom text into it, so you could have the characters talk, or have things like "Meanwhile, at the Batcave" kind of thing. Also, where are the Marvel themes? Its an ok app for what it does, but its a real pain to use on an IPOD.
