Barnes and Noble - LOTR with 15% off

As stated above I just ordered Helms Deep $116.95 with the 20% coupon. I signed up for the Kids Club trial since its free for 2 months and I just got the 30% off for that. So I used the B&N customer services link on the website and chatted with a Rep. I had to reorder a new one and cancel the old one so I ordered another for $116.95 and with the 30% it came out to $81.86 then with sales tax the grand total was $88.61. Now I thought the other one was cancelled but it said it was too late to cancel but I checked its price and both of them received the coupon so now I have 2 in order for $88.61. Should I return one or for that price is it worth keeping?

For that price I'd keep it or sell it off on fe-ebay Otherwise I am sure someone on this forum would want it for that price...

Yeah I think I'll wait on the other ones and just use the 20% off on those once they get that initial 10% off. I'm really pumped about the Monster Fighters and hope they come in soon before the coupons go away.

So I'm the kind of person that loves a good hunt for a deal and am always looking out for the best combos that can save some money. This is a great sight as I've just recently gotten back into Legos. The B&N discounts are great with the initial 10% off then an additional 20% off if your a member(which I'd highly recommend to sign up because you have nothing to lose 2 months FREE!!!) They also send you a 30% off one item coupon which I got lucky and used for 2 Helms Deep Sets, but if you sign up for the kids club for every $100 you spend they give you $5 back so thats another discount.

I wanted to know if anyone buys those discounted gift cards or e-cards online like at plastic jungle, carpool, or gift cards.com. I was looking into it and some sell gift cards or even better the e-giftcards at a 14-13% discount off of face value for B&N. I'm pretty wary tho because I've read some really bad reviews. If legit that would make my lego buying even more cheap all I'd need to do after that is find an educator to see if their discount applies to legos LOL.

Try taking it into a store. They may be able to order it for you and apply the discount and free site to store shipping.

Do what I did and explain the situation that you want to buy Helm's Deep set but the coupon doesn't work but it does say its a kids club eligible purchase and they should do it for you and you'll get quick updated confirmation through your Order Status tab. Or if you don't want to take those steps you can call on the phone or just give it to me =).

I thank you for this code - the $5 off $20 code is perfect for the Uruk-Hai army set, as it is almost as good as a 20% off coupon, yet not wasted on a low value set. For those of us with memberships, this brings the price of the set to $21.95 + tax.

It would probably be even better for two Gandalf Arrives sets, so if anyone has a different code for this same deal, please post!

The codes work fine. You're probably trying to use them on sets that have been inured against the codes (ie, not the 2012 sets).

The codes are not working for some. The 4 largest sets have been inoculated against our codes.

Same here, I'm from Toronto and the last time I ordered from B&N the shipping was about 3-4 weeks. This time it only took about 1 week.

For international or Canadian buyers there is no point to buy any of the small sets as the coupon will not even negate any of the shipping charges... was good while it lasted though!

TLG probably intervened with BNs practices... they always do!
