By the time I got through the border, I arrived exactly at 10am. Got tickets for group 17 and was told to come back at 4:30. Left the mall and never came back. :( So didn't get the free promo set. But I already have one so no big deal. I hope all the others got one!
But the store was much larger than I expected or have visited before. I like that it is deep and narrow, much better than walking around in Bellevue or Vancouver.
Btw, I filled my first PAB cup at Bellevue today. It was so much fun! :)

lol I felt the same way after I filled my first PaB cup. The fun part is in the challenge of filling it to maximum capacity, and it's even more fun when you've got some unique parts in there.Legobrandon wrote:Btw, I filled my first PAB cup at Bellevue today. It was so much fun! :)

Re: More Grand Opening store dates (KS,NJ,WA,GA)
Having been to Bellevue (randomly over the last year or so), Tigard (Portland, OR) once in April, and Lynnwood (June 1st for their 1st day, and Saturday and Sunday for the Grand Opening), Bellevue is uncomfortable on a normal Saturday/Sunday (oddly with the Grand Opening at Alderwood there was still a crowd but in 2 hours of stuffing PAB cups on Sunday, amazingly more elbow room for all but maybe 20 minutes of the time). Lynnwood is very similar to the size of the Tigard store (kind of narrow, but very deep) being used to Bellevue, on a weekend... when I walked into the Tigard store, at about 12:30 on a Tuesday or Wednesday, the realization of stuffing a PAB cup without my kids in tow, with about 6 other people in the store (2 of them employees).... was quite nice, was very happy when I walked into the Lynnwood store on June 1st to see it was a similar size, of course the weekend before that had gotten to Bellevue early enough on a Saturday that it wasn't packed, or 80 degrees...Legobrandon wrote:

When standing in line to check out at about 11:15 on Sunday in Lynnwood with a Large PAB cup full of 2x2 tiles (from the one time I counted that is ~750).... and a second cup over 1/3 full of 1x1 round clear plates, 1/2 full of gray hinges, and a few other bits a pieces... bobbles the one full of tiles (and lets just say its much easier to pickup 700 tiles off the floor as they don't tend to bounce everywhere in the process, I did manage to repeat this, but only from counter height, and between the counter and the brick wall at Bellevue later in the day with a cup that was 30% 1x1 light blue rounds, I had a clumsy sort of weekend).
