Star Wars Combine-able Battlepacks CUUSOO

Post by samiam391 » Sun Jun 24, 2012 3:31 pm

I'm not one to normally promote my own projects, but I recently published one yesterday that's actually done quite well for only being online for 36 hours.
So here's the link:

I appreciate any feedback, comments, and support!
Cheers,
Sam

Great Idea. I think there should definitely be more sets that combine together. Cheaper battlepack type sets that you could buy in bulk and combine together in multiple configurations is an awesome idea!

The one negative I see, this has been brought up quite often recently with the Urak-hai army set, is that you have Vader in a battlepack. If we are going to buy multiple of the same sets we don't want to end up with half a dozen of the identical named fig. I'd much rather have a 4th stormtrooper than vader though I understand why you included him in the hallway scene.

The idea though is a great one and has a ton of potential.

Thank you!
Yes, i've received that same feedback a number of times already in this projects short-life. I'm definitely considering changing Vader to either another stormtrooper or an Imperial officer.
Thanks again for the comment and feedback!

You mention in one of your comments that your main idea with this project is for LEGO to produce 'CAM's, as you put it. Since the main point of Cuusoo is to produce single-set products, my piece of advice (for what it's worth) would be to focus on the set. The hallway set you've come up with is a great idea, so try to focus on making that hallway look awesome. And if the set itself looks awesome, then the idea of combinable battlepack sets is that much better. That being said, I think this is great, and you have my support.

But get rid of Darth Vader. :P

Thanks for the feedback!
I'll definitely be trying to alter the tantive iv set I already have up via supporters feedback and comments on it. I'm also planning on building another set to show the flexibility of the CAMS project.

Yes, I think Vader is going to go. ;-)
Thanks for the support!
