I drove by the Midwest from stl to KC. Stop by a few Walmart. A 4 hr trip became 6. Oh what u do for Lego. Find some deals and some blah store with no sale at all

Got few big hog warts for 89
Few queen ship for 79
Knight bus for ! 15 instead of 25
Sb under sea party the new one for ! 25
Sith infiltrated for 35
Magikus for 5
Hagrids hut for 19
Alien mother ship for 30
Alien defender 7
City police command center 21

That's about it, I didn't pick up stuff that are less then 30 percent after tax or smaller stuff. Usually will run into hp stuff or potc stuff. I can't believe some store still have them full price, found a ts zurg for 13, bionic lee something for 55, and saw a millennium falcon in clearance where no shelf sticker have in the isle as well, ring it up. Full price. Sigh. Good luck hunting!

Decided to check out my local Wally Worlds since you guys are finding amazing deals

North Brunswick, NJ Wal-Mart
7325 Cursed Cobra Statue: $20 They had about 6-7 left, I picked up one, great mummy for the Monster Fighters line
Heroica board games - They had 2 different ones for $19

Lambertville
Black Pearl: $45!!! I snatched it up immediately.
Queen Anne's Revenge: $80, which I found weird.
Several Cars sets (sorry not a cars guy)
Ploo Kloon's Starfighter: $19, tempting, but I'm trying to stay away from the Star Wars line. Too much to get into!

It's all luck, and I think some Wal-Marts are slower to do their markdowns than others. The stuff I found was no where to be found when people started posting about them here.

Not too, too great, but picked up a Clone Turbo tank for $79 (left the other 2). I'd been letting 'em sit for like a month, but finally pulled the trigger. There was still a ton of POTC and Harry Potter stuff left for 30% off.

Well 2 days after I last checked when they were 30% off they have marked all their HP and POTC stuff to 50% here in my local Montana store. I still passed on POTC Mill at $20(was $30). >_< I just decided I would only get the BP or QAR if I was going to buy a POTC set which aren't marked down of course and still haven't seen QAR in person, lol. I'm not a HP fan at all. They did have the Cars Red's Water Rescue set for $7 which I bought because of the price and I needed some grey and red pieces to customize my new LEGO X-Wing which looks extra sweet now. :D If they still have the Mill tomorrow I might give in, lol. They are still mocking me with the BP scanning at $99.96... X_X

I stopped by two Wal-Marts in the Twin Cities several times a week and NEVER seen Lego on clearance! What's the deal here?! I can remember ONE time they had a couple of sets on clearance and it was only %10 off of their already inflated price. That was last winter! Haven't seen any since. I've just stopped looking now.

In Seekonk, Mass:

Hoth Wampa Cave (8089) : $10 (think there are 3 or 4)

That was it except for a few duplos. I got the last Cursed cobra.

I don't collect the SW stuff and only have a few that i bought just for pieces. I picked it up on a lark and did the brick build part of it...and I can see why they are so popular. The ship was crazy...tons of pieces and smart design. The cave is very detailed and unique in 20 or so parts. I always put the figures in separate bags and put them to the side. Maybe some day I will get rid of the 8 or 9 that I found over the past year.

Drove up there today to see if there were any Wampa Caves left. Of course there were'nt. Only one duplo cars 2 set left. There were:
Mack's Team Truck (8486) - probably about 6 sets. I think they were like $15.
PQ Rise of the Sphinx (7326) - about 6 sets of those, too. They were $20.

I also found, unmarked, on the regular shelf area...a Plo Koon's for $10, so I bought that.

That's interesting, because I'm not even from the Twin Cities, stopped in one Wal Mart (the one just west of the Mall of America) when I was up there this past week and found the 7288 Mobile Police Unit for $21. It wasn't marked as such, but since I know that set is on the way out, and I found it in a random part of the toy section without a tag, I scanned it and had to grab it at that price.

Are you a member of TwinLug? I know that folks in that group post their clearance finds and I've seen posts about Wal Mart finds. The problem is that in the Twin Cities, Wal Marts aren't all that common, but you can't sneeze without hitting a Target store. Since there are a lot of LEGO fans (and probably resellers), I suspect you need to have good timing to find clearance deals.

Maybe they're pulling out old stock because I checked that location a month ago and saw nothing worth picking up.

Good luck! I can only buy one or two of something, honestly. Even on Black Friday I only bought one of the XXL boxes after waiting for an hour or so. Luckily I found another for $15 later.

I guess I want someone else to get some of the goods.
