Did you guys see the LEGO LOTR (TT Games) video game announcement?! This is what I wanted the most out the LEGO LOTR license! (I still wish they kept to the style of not talking, but at least they pull the audio straight off the movie.)

Anyone else underwhelmed by the Ringwraiths (Nazgul) LEGO has created? An all black face? Really?! Because they actually have faces in the movie, even though hidden most of the time. Also, outside the cape, it appears everything is recycled. The figure looks like a Emporer Palpatine's body mixed with old Storm Trooper face. Pretty weak in my opinion.

Ehh, I think they look alright. The torso is definetly close to Emperor Palpatine's, but it's not exactly the same. There really isn't a ton Lego could do with them and still make them look like they appear in the films 90% of the time. I mean usually you only see them with their huge capes/robes drawn over their bodies and nothing else except their gauntlets sticking out.

I guess it really is just being spoiled by LEGO. I feel like every other Lotr minifig was so perfectly captured, especially the faces, that to have just all black face here really disappointed me. Then to not even have the cool helmet or anything. Just feels like a missed op

That video game is going to rock! Too bad we have to wait until fall, but we will have Batman 2 coming out on the 19th to keep us occupied! :)

I just finished building Helm's Deep and I'm pretty impressed with the detail taken in this castle. If I could change one thing I probably would have either taken out the horn and lowered the cost or made a smaller horn and make a taller keep. Otherwise, very nice.

I plan on buying the entire first wave in bulk and having the greatest day off in the history of the world. The video game being announced was just icing on my nerd cake.

Will Lego continue introducing new Lord of the Rings trilogy sets once the Hobbit movies are released?

Does anyone know if the LEGO discovery center shop in Schaumburg IL still sells the Uruk-hai polybag? Thanks!
