Re: Target - Summer Clearance
Wow! After all my moaning about local WM, Target comes through! Vancouver, WA Targets have the SW Pod Racer set for $63 (yes, I know, all you lucky sotts are getting it for much less, but highly unusual for us to see _any_ discounts) and they have lots of them - just stroll around a little as they are scattered all around the Lego aisle (and sometimes stuck in any random open hole). A couple other of the previously quoted sales, but FINALLY 30% off for us in SW WA! Enjoy - Bob (and crew)

[USA] Target LEGO Clearance for Summer 2012
Target stores in the United States are now starting to up their discount on LEGO clearances. It started off with 10-30% off but members are now reporting that savings are at 30-50% off. The sets are still pretty much the same, but these savings might just be enough to finally pull the trigger on some of these sets.
Here's one of the reports sented in by Justin. All of the sets listed below were at least 30% off.
LEGO Star Wars Anakin's & Sebulba's Podracers 7962
LEGO City Police Station 7498
LEGO Dino T-Rex Hunter 5886
LEGO Alien Conquest Jet-Copter Encounter 7067
LEGO Alien Conquest UFO Abduction 7052
LEGO Alien Conquest Alien Mothership 7065

Re: Target - Summer Clearance
I found 2 LIghthouses at 50% off today (at a store I previously checked that had nothing at all on clearance) but everything else was seemed to be still 20-30% off.
Re: Target - Summer Clearance
Visited another Target this morning in search of amazing discounts - The Lego boxes on Clearance were on end-caps. End-caps labelled "Clearance 30% and 50% off or more - priced as marked", but most of the Clearance Lego was 10 to 20%. A couple items were 30% (Creator Log Cabin and a $30 Alien Conquest thing marked down to $21). There was a previously opened, but taped back up Destiny's Bounty for 50% off. I left with nothing. The DB is tempting, but my guess is that it has been pilfered of minifigs.

Add: Harry Potter to the list. I saw a few different ones at one of my local stores, but they are 50% off the new Target Markup price.

I too am looking for Target deals in Southern California, specifically Southbay area.

Which Target and are they still there?melsig wrote:I found 2 LIghthouses at 50% off today (at a store I previously checked that had nothing at all on clearance) but everything else was seemed to be still 20-30% off.
only thing I have found is 1 Harry Potter Hogwarts castle for 30% off and picked it up.
I was able to also use a 5% rewards coupon as well.
They did have a few of the Podrace set at 30% off too.
This was in SE Wisconsin.

Re: Target - Summer Clearance
Nutley, NJ has no Lego on clearance as of a few hours ago
Re: Target - Summer Clearance
I saw the clone war battlepacks for 7.98 at my local Target and they also had a droid carrier priced down to 18 but the box was plowed through. Nothing else of note though.
Re: Target - Summer Clearance
When you write nutley, do you mean the one in Clifton, in the commons. I was at that one Wednesday afternoon and they had a bunch of clearance, mostly 30 percent off super marked up prices but I did get a clone turbo tank. they also had lighthouses, some alien conquest, the Harry potter bus, and a few other sets.lordharrier wrote:Nutley, NJ has no Lego on clearance as of a few hours ago

Re: Target - Summer Clearance
That's the one. I must be checking the wrong price scanner or something and nothing was labeled clearance. Went back to the clearance aisle and all they had were kiddie toys.
Sorry about Nutley there but it looks like its right on the border between Nutley and Clifton and I forget that even though its on the FARRRRR end of Clifton Commons ..its still in Clifton Commons lol.
I've been looking for a Clone turbo tank on discount, how much was it?

Target.com has the Maersk train for $110.99. Not that big a savings over S@H, but you almost never see any of the train sets on sale.

Re: Target - Summer Clearance
I was kind of excited to get 5884 The Raptor Chase for $20 yesterday. it wasn't marked as clearance, but after scanning every set I was interested in, it came up $10 less than marked. I'd really love to get 5886 for something in the $50-60 range though.
