I always like hearing about the things they added just for AFOL's sake like adding lots of "brick" bricks.

I'm going to have to sell lots of blood to get this one.
Why do we drive on a parkway and park on a driveway?

The winter cottage would be a perfect place to sight a yeti :)

Why does the box say 1490 pieces but it's being reported as having 1487 pieces?

Re: LEGO 10229 Winter Village Cottage
This set looks great and has good value. 6.7 cents per piece. Not too many sets priced at that level. Actually the only set that beats this that is currently out is the Mini Modulars that I know of. There is probably some other sets that can beat it, but they are not on my interest list.
Re: LEGO 10229 Winter Village Cottage
And bear in mind that the bulk of the pieces in Mini Modulars are various 1x1s, which diminishes the value slightly for that set in light of the piece/color selection in this one. I was griping that UCS R2, the Haunted House and this one were all so expensive - and on my wish list - but you can't argue with the value on this one.SpaceNinjaDino wrote:6.7 cents per piece.
