I haven't opened one yet. I was waiting for TRU to have BOGO50 on series 7. I guess I better head out to Lego and pick up what I need.

Yesterday I found series 8 at my local Toys r us stores (in NJ). I was very surprised, I didn't expect them to have them this soon. I already have all but 2 of the figures!

My Toys'R'Us (in Coral Springs Florida) actually had 'em. I'm surprised!

North Attleboro, MA had one case, partially picked thru- probably at 2/3 to half now. It is hidden away at the end of the first LEGO aisle.

I got the few that I needed, but was a little surprised when I opened them. The figures were pretty scratched up- from shipping, I assume. and the whites (the bavarian torso, the thespian's skull head, etc) were a little dingy. All in all, though, a fine assortment of unique pieces. I really like the ruff, bowler, and the santa stuff.

I found a box of series 8s at fred meyer in eugene, picked a couple, got a dj and a pirate captain!

I originally found them in the Wayne NJ and Totowa NJ stores. That was last Friday, and they each had a whole box, my friends went to those 2 stores as well as Bridgewater and East hanover the very next day and they were all sold out. However they did find a box at the Secaucus TRU. And thanks to them I now have a complete set!

Checked two of the six Twin Cities TRU locations - no Series 8 at either Maple Grove or Blaine (on Saturday).

TRU in North Canton OH got a box in today. Grabbed one set.
